Here’s a very small snippet from one of today’s parties. We played games prior to this recording so I had already built rapport with these kiddos! The were so chill.
This was a quiet party. Not a lot of background noise, super chill and intimate.
I’d like to show you a vast range of parties I attend and how I have to adapt on the job to suit the vibe of the party.
Sometimes I’m loud, energetic and always on the go! And other times I’m more chill. I have to mould and adapt to suit the vibe of the kids. Every party is SSOOOOOOOO different and I’m excited to show just how diverse (and sometimes unpredictable) my job can be!

Cafe & restaurant owners, it’s time to start hosting kids parties here’s why ⬇️
Your clients don’t want the extra hassle of searching around for additional services when hosting a party at your cafe/restaurant.
How do you support your clients?
1. Offer them a booklet or brochure with recommended services that you feel comfortable recommending. This could mean, cake makers, entertainers (like me🤪), balloon decor, party favours, themed decor… the list goes on! Having these services at your clients figure tips, reduced their mental load as they have a ton of local services that can reach out to!
2. You speak with your client, gauge what services they require and offer them a ‘party package’ with added services. Your client is completely hands off, while you organise the service/s for the client. You charge them a admin fee as well as the cost to cover the added service. A great way to boost your revenue.

Let this be a reminder to you as a parent. ALWAYS ask for Working with children checks when you’re leaving your children (or others) in the presence of other adults.
But in what situations do I ask for a WWCC I hear you ask? I’ll make it SUPER clear for you.
➡️ If your eyes aren’t locked on your kids the entire duration of an activity. Then you better be asking for a WWCC.
Situations such as
- hired kids entertainment (That’s us!)
- kids party venues & play centres (all staff should have one)
- school camps (it’s a requirement that all parents/adults attending have current checks)
- kids sports coaches
- school excursions to venues (once again, all staff working at the venue or any adult in attendance)
Literally every situation there’s a child… a WWCC is required.
What situations have I not mentioned? Share in the comments and let’s educate and raise awareness. Let’s make this a common question that ALL parents seek proof of.
We put a lot of faith into these businesses and organisations assuming they are taking all the necessary steps to keep our kids safe. But when possible, do your due diligence… ASK THE QUESTION…

I’m done and dusted for the day 🥵
It was so awesome working at an event with multiple members of the CTE crew today. We have Liz and myself (Renee) face painting, Laura on balloon twisting and Kerri doing a little bit of balloons twisting and a little bit of big bubbles!
Working as an entertainer we often work solo, so it’s so lovely to chit chat to other members of the CTE crew when we’re at gigs together 🫶
A big shoutout to Stella, who was working hard to capture loads of content of me and the Colourful Crew doing our thanngggg today!
