Stix food journey!!!

We haven't done one of these for a while...we got in just before lockdown 5.0

A few weeks ago we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary and we were gifted a night out to dinner and chose .melbourne

It was amazing!!!! The food was incredible and we couldn't fault any dish, and we had a lot of them

Pickled vegetables
Tarama w mussels
Kaseri cheese w oyster mushroom and Sujuk butter
Spinach flatbread w yoghurt n pepper paste
Baked beetroot
Jumbo prawns n pippies in chilli butter w corn bread
Chicken breast w chickpea and bulgur
Grilled Moreton Bay bugs w seafood risoni
Grilled eye fillet w smoked eggplant puree
Semolina w mastic cream and almond
Chocolate pudding w cardamom cake and icecream

These photos don't do the food justice.

Hands down the best dish was the Semolina, it smelt like my mums halva.

Chef has managed to keep the dishes and flavours true to their origin. Can't wait for him to write a cook book to add to our collection.
