GROUCH IN DUB BAND MEMBERS

began his musical journey performing Jazz, Classical and Folk Music around Australia and then turned his ears to Hip Hop.

Off the back of his own Australian Funk/Hip Hop project The BeatLab a chance meeting with the producer Grouch in 2017 allowed him to discover his love of electronic music.

He joined the electronic project Grouch in Dub (NZ) in 2017 and since then has quickly built his reputation as a top freelance Saxophonist and Clarinetist performing at some of the best events and nightclubs around Australia!

Benjamin’s own music and Grouch in Dub has led him further afield with performances at some the best clubs and festival stages worldwide including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Pukka Up Boat party (Ibiza), The Block Club (Tel Aviv), Ozora (Hungary), Echoes of Earth (India), Envision festival (Costa Rica), Earth Frequency and Dragon Dreaming (Aus) and Atman (Sri Lanka).

West African in heritage Zjoso has quickly become an essential thread weaving through the city’s musical tapestry. He is the founder of , a progressive platform celebrating underground music and culture, where at the helm, he has successfully carved out a distinct role as radio host ,DJ and curator.

An accomplished and versatile DJ, Zjoso explores his love for soulful music across the spectrum. In a relatively short time span, he has quickly asserted himself as a prevalent figure on Naarm’s clubbing circuit. With discerning taste that touches on sounds like street soul, 90’s house, dub reggae and hazy breakbeat, he is able to navigate both dancefloors and radio frequencies with perceptive ability and a sharp skill-set. The recherché selector’s recognition proven with invitations to warm up for the likes of Glenn Underground, Jovonn, Bradley Zero, Errol (Touching Bass), Gnork and as a key support at Flow Festival setting the mood between acts like Digable Planets and KAITT.

The name Zepherin Saint is synonymous with impeccable vibes, dope tunes and now, his latest project Tribe Soundsystem.

These journeys are deeply immersive and evocative sound transmissions that awaken our inner realms and healing intelligence.

He says that his growing love affair with music which eventually led to him composing, performing and touring internationally, taught him that music is a universal language that can bridge cultural divides and bring people together in harmony, unity and open hearts.

Our current realities are marked by division, fear and collective pain and suffering and we carry the weight of our emotions in our bodies.
