Let’s talk makeup and photography…

Keeping in mind that your photos are one of the only remaining memories that you’ll see on the regular, it’s a good idea to think about what style of photos you want captured by your photographer. If you like the natural vibe, it’s worth noting that black and white images require a more contoured approach as the tones are flattened out more. Flash light and evening lighting will also dictate a different approach to makeup.
So after your trial, wear your makeup for the day, take selfies, morning, noon and night to see how it wears and make sure you’re happy with how it photographs in different light. Then get in touch with your MUA and go through and notes for change .

When having your makeup done, consider the time of day… not all foundations are suitable for all types of lighting.

The brightness of natural daylight means that matte and full coverage makeup will appear cakey.
Opt for a light - medium coverage and spot conceal.
Radiant blushes give an inner glow. Try a cream or liquid tint.
Line the lips for definition and hydrate with a tinted balm.
