This past week, the Fruitbowl team were thrilled to support Yellow Ladybugs on their annual conference, dedicated to amplifying autistic voices. 💛

This week, we were thrilled to support Maroondah City Council and Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place in organising the Mullum Market as part of Reconciliation Week! 🌿✨

The event began with a warm welcome from the Mayor of Maroondah, Councillor Kylie Spears, and a powerful Smoking Ceremony led by Uncle Perry. The markets were a fantastic success, featuring First Nations artists and creators, and some delicious Paella! 🍲🖼️

🎉 In a wonderful collaboration, Fruitbowl was called to Portland by the Glenelg Shire Council to assist with coordinating their New Year's Eve on the foreshore, an unforgettable highlight of the local community calendar! 🌟✨

The evening featured live music, headlined by the beloved local band, Little Georgia, and supported by the incredible talents of Flynn Gurry and Jasmine Biadacz. 🎤🎸 The atmosphere was electric, and the crowd couldn't get enough of the stellar performances.

Then to close the evening and welcome in the new year Southern Star Fireworks brought the magic with not one but TWO spectacular fireworks shows! 🎇🎆

Marking a fantastic way to kick off the new year. Thank you, Portland, for letting us be part of this incredible celebration right before we get to return for Hooked On Portland 2024 ! 🌠

Monash Carols almost slipped through our fingers for the 4th consecutive year, but guess what? We didn't let a little wild weather rain on our parade! ☔

On our scheduled date of December 2nd, Mother Nature decided to throw us a curveball, leading to the unfortunate cancellation of the event. Within 24 hours, we rallied together with the unwavering support of our incredible event suppliers, dedicated staff, and talented performers to reschedule for the very next day.

A massive shoutout to our event partners Safety In Numbers and YoYo Music for turning this challenge into a triumph! 🎶 Your collaboration made this possible, and we couldn't be more grateful. We've been engaged to produce and deliver Monash Carols for the City of Monash for over 15 years and thank the many teams within the organistion who come together to support us in delivering this event.

This is a testament to the experience, skills, and passion that fuel Fruitbowl Productions. 🌈 Overcoming hurdles is just part of the job, and we take pride in making the magic happen against all odds.

What a way to welcome back events! On Saturday 30th October, we were thrilled to facilitate a glorious Diwali celebration at Harvest Rise Greenbank in QLD for Intrapac.

A fun family day was had by all which included Rangoli Art by artist, Madhu Khanna, Henna Art by Azra and authentic Bollywood dancing with Dance Masala, performing and teaching locals some seriously amazing Bollywood moves.

It was such a joyous, colourful and vibrant celebration, combining everything we love about running events. And we are excited to have a sensational summer of events coming your way soon.

At Fruitbowl we love planning and executing all types of events, but there are some events that are extra special. And the amazing Winter Concert on Wednesday day was definitely special.

The event included a Welcome to Country with Uncle Colin Hunter, a special performance from the Djirri Djirri Dancers and the opportunity to walk through The Track Gallery to see the Valley Reserve exhibition.

Next up was the supremely talented Kee'ahn, a proud Kuku Yalanji, Jirrbal, Zenadh Kes song woman whose vocals and hopeful lyrics champion the idea that finding strength in our struggles encourages us to reflect, and rejoice in our own individual healing journeys. And in current times, we all need some hope and healing.
