Add dynamics to your dance and more colour to your creations with this introduction to Laban Movement... but make it burlesque!

With the guidance of burlesque legend Willow J, explore one of the most important movement techniques used by dancers and actors alike.
Add pizzaz to your movement vocabulary with energy and variation by discovering how to put more 'Punch' into your Bumps, 'Slashes' to your strip,'Wrings' to your Grinds and 'Glides' to your Struts!
The benefits of this exploration will be demonstrated and explored through movement and st******se.

In this 4-hour workshop you will be provided with all the tools and know-how you need to create your very own pair of fully rhinestoned pasties with tassels.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MAISONETTES 🎆🍾
From our family to yours!

We say "au revoir!" to 2024, and "salut!" to 2025!

How did you celebrate last night? Did you have a chill one on the couch? Or are you only just getting home now? 😉

2024 was a big year for us. We found a new home in Thornbury, where our evergrowing burly community helped and supported us through the move. We may have changed post codes, but our dedication to supporting the training opportunities for all styles of burlesque and dance still ring true.

Big love to all our incredible staff, teachers, students and supporters for being part of our mad little world this year. 2024 saw 5 blockbuster group Showcase events (technically 10 shows!), the growth of our .online streaming platform (300+ classes!!), new workshop facilitators & course teachers, and an abundance of love throughout our four walls.

Stay tunes this month as we have a fresh Burlesque Teaser Class on Jan 7th for those looking to trial burlesque for the first time, two HUGE weekends of Summer School, and a massive Term 1 from January 25th.
