Creatives in business, this is for you if you’re feeling stuck ✨ Firstly, I have been here many times over my fifteen years in this business. Secondly, I have always found that to find an inward sense of inspiration I have to either seek outward help or find the resources. Find mentorship and guidance wherever you can from those who have already been where you want to go.

We love a Spring wedding for many reasons, one of which is the vibrant and playful colours we get to play with. If you are planning a 2025 Spring wedding our favourite palette to play with includes -

✨ Soft pastels like blush pink and lavender for a romantic feel
✨ Coral is one we love to include for a pop of colour that blends so harmoniously with other Spring shades
✨ Peachy tones which pair so well with pastels
✨ Sage green or similar tones to ground the vibrancy of other shades
✨ Lemon yellow which is such a fun accent colour to uplift the palette

It truly sets the tone for your mood board and when executed into your day, can be a strong indicator of the look and feel of the whole wedding. We consider -

✨ Seasonality - that is, do we want to embrace the palette of the season with your unique style in mind? What aspect of the season can we illuminate? For a recent winter wedding we chose to embrace icy blues and cool tones like a winter wonderland. Or do we contrast it?

✨ Your personal love story. What palette comes to mind when you think of your love? Is there a place or memory that you recall through its tonality?

✨ What ambience do you want to achieve? Colour evokes emotion, so the palette is important to showing your guests how to feel for your day.

✨ Theme - the overall vision of your day will help draw you to colours that integrate well and express the theme.

✨ Venue - will your chosen colours be harmonious with the venue or will they clash?

A moment for Frances and Alex. I knew Frances and Alex quite well after styling their tea ceremony a year or so prior to their wedding…

Their tea ceremony was abundant with vibrant colour and luxurious touches that was carried through to their wedding day. Those same rich hues, lavish with joy and laughter were evident throughout… balanced by tones of mustard against the all white venue of .

Overall what we curated was such an embodiment of this couple and conveyed this deep sense of emotion about their union. We love love 🤍

How we used lighting to create the sultry winter vibe for Alyssa and Daniel’s reception…Lighting was a key part of the production for their reception. We utilised a moody blue light to create the ambience, and accented the tables with tea lights at various heights. This created an endless glow throughout the room.

For Alyssa and David, we wanted to emulate a cold, cozy winter evening but with a luxurious edge. We transformed the space into a romantic field replete with texture and warmth.
