This holy month, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar is the month Muslims around the world fast from dusk till dawn, and it is during this month that our holy Quran revelations were revealed to Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).
The elements of Ramadan are so pure and touches us on so many levels as people. It reminds us of our faith, and duties to Allah SWT, but it also opens your heart to think of others and to give Zekat (charity), feed others especially those less fortunate, and in your reflections you look in the mirror and forgive yourself and others.
