Duck & lemongrass sausage rolls with tamarind ketchup, on the menu at our country bakehouse tomorrow. Dedicated to people who ironically mispronounce ‘lowbrow’ foods/drinks in posh accents eg sausaaaahge rolls. Can’t think of other examples rn? Hate it but I do it sometimes. Tix still available x

In season: shish*to peppers. Raw these just taste like a kinda spicy green capsicum… but blistered on the chargrill and hit with a bit of cumin salt, white balsamic and good oil they’re the shish*tt. Smoky, buttery and bright, they make a perfect lil summer beer snack and are on all our deli boards for functions the next couple weeks.
