We are beyond thrilled to announce that Metropolis Events has been named Victorian Wedding Caterer of the Year and has also received the prestigious Victorian Caterer of the Year Major Award! These honours are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, from our talented chefs to our exceptional service staff, who make every event unforgettable.

Additionally, we were finalists in the Events Caterer category, while our sister venue, Q Events, was a finalist in the Event/Convention Centre Caterer category.

We are immensely grateful to the Restaurant & Catering Association for this recognition and look forward to continuing our mission of creating extraordinary culinary and event experiences. Thank you for your support!

Metropolis Events is a sophisticated and flexible events venue suitable for meetings and conferences, gala dinners, private celebrations, intimate ceremonies and lavish wedding receptions. Strategically located within Melbourne’s Arts Precinct, Metropolis Events is part of the vibrant Southgate Restaurant and Shopping precinct in Southbank.

The venue boasts nine-metre floor to ceiling windows, latest audio-visual technology and a versatile floor plan accommodating up to 1,100 guests for cocktail events. The space can be partitioned to allow for spectacular room reveals, quiet spaces and breakout areas. An all-weather private terrace opens up to stunning vistas of the city skyline.
