We love all of the work we do through Ascent Media but nothing beats filming underwater. It is another world and we love that we can offer that special service to clients

We don't get to shoot much underwater in winter for obvious reasons, so we were excited to shoot the underwater scenes for a VCA short film 'Creek' directed by Jim Fenton and Cinematography by Robert C Morton on the weekend

This summer will be filled with underwater filming. We can't wait!

I'm very excited to be working with St John Ambulance Victoria in getting the first Defib In Your Street installed in Sunshine at the front door of Ascent Media headquarters.

Not only does it mean my staff have immediate access to a Defib but also my family across the road and our wider community in Sunshine.

It is a brilliant program, when you call 000 they will let you know where the nearest Defib is, they give you the code and it is as simple as unlocking the cabinet, opening it up, stick the pads on the person's chest and it does the rest.

Defibrillation within the first few minutes of having a Sudden Cardiac Arrest increases the chance of survival to over 70%

I surprised the crew with a 1.5hr Circus training session at NICA National Institute of Circus Arts and then a 5hr drinking session at the pub
So great to get together, not wear black and hang out properly, while climbing over each other.
