Day 27! A wedding Style I love
As a celebrant, the wedding style of my couples are all important, individual and beautiful.
My personal taste is more rustic, vintage and micro. I love that natural cozy feeling, surrounded by the handful of important people.

Day 24! Personal Vows
I love personal vows, but I know it can scare the pants of people. Of course there is plenty of help on Google, ChatGPT, even the odd romantic film and facebook stories.
But the best ones are the ones you believe in and come from your heart.
So here are six tips...
1. Be yourself, and use your words and expressions
2. Be realistic, these are real and genuine promises
3. Getting started and Framing the Promises, so many ways to do this but follow a simple formula, that helps you start writing. For example „a really simple formula to follow is to say some nice things about your partner, then make some promises.
With you by my side
Thank you for
I promise to…
On this day...
You have been my …
4. Collaborate, with someone you trust, not your partner or the surprise is gone? Don’t worry about their differing styles, tone or length (although 300 words or less works well) you are both individuals, you are different that’s why you like them!
5. Chill, it does not have to be word perfect, grammatically correct, it has to sound like you, try to be yourself, be authentic and don’t panic. Take yourself to a quiet space and write for maybe 5-10 minutes at first and then come back to it, you don’t need to do it in one hit.
Your guests will remember the heartfelt, funny or outrighteous vibe not every single word
6. Practice, read your vows a few times before the day, read slowly on the day and look up at your partner occasionally while reading these are important words to the two of you.

Day 20 Favourite Tradition/Ritual
Handfasting or Hand Tying is one of my favourite rituals to perform.
Ari and Eimear had this at their elopement, just the two of them the photographer and me. They wanted something to represent their two cultures, two families and the binding of their love into their own future family traditions and rituals.
So this is something you can do with friends, family, blended families and just the two of you. With 2 to 10 or more people taking part in this beautiful moment of Unity.

Day 15 fav Song!
Yea a little late on this one….
One of my favourite songs played at Wedding’s is at last originally by Etta James. I have had brides walk down the aisle on their own to this song, or as Jess And Nathan use it as background for their photos.
There are many songs that evoke emotions that reflect the couples vibe. And these are the most poignant for any wedding. The songs that your guests absolutely recognise as yours.
