Wishing the gorgeous Amelia and Tim the most fabulous wedding anniversary today!

Married by me

Gorgeous Amelia and Tim were destined to be a couple - especially as Amelia was known as Aunty Millie to Tim’s brothers girls!

This was unbeknownst to Uncle Tim, as he was living in WA at the time!

Tim has a little habit that Amelia can’t wrap her head around – and that is his second wear chair – and let me explain that to you – it’s Tim’s grandfather’s green chair and it’s where Tim leaves his clothes in a neat pile – it’s for clothes that are too clean to put in the wash,
too dirty to put back in the cupboard.
Makes sense, YES?!

Whereas Tim can’t understand why Amelia wants to put everything away when they are just going to use them again – like the coasters on the coffee table or the iron or the toaster if they are just going to use it in a few hours or a day later.

And when I visited them in their house, I saw who had won this battle, as I could see the toaster, iron and coasters out!

They gave me the most stunning candle from - which is the company they created together - making stunning candies in all different designs!

Feeling SO blessed to have been part of their day

Happiest of first wedding anniversaries to the gorgeous Sarah and Bruce.

Married by me on the rooftop of her parents apartment, surrounded by their loving families.

They said I do, and then went off and celebrated with the rest of their family and friends.

Wishing the gorgeous Piri & Dee the most beautiful wedding anniversary today!

Married by me on a sunny day!

Piri and Dee first laid eyes on each other in the Summer of 2011.
They were just two people in the wrong place at the right time, yet neither of them knew it at the time.

Their attraction and connection was instant, as they immediately just clicked, as if they had known each other always.

Piri has always made Dee feel protected, as she always looked out for her, always making sure she was okay.

And over that summer, they became best friends!

Over the past 11years, Dee feels privileged to have Piri by her
side.

When Dee moved to Melbourne in 2012, it took 3 days to set up a phone to get in contact with Piri, and over those 3 days,
Dee was miserable without her.
And when Dee was finally able to call Piri, she was SO happy to hear from her, they were both crying tears of happiness.

They texted every spare minute of every single day and spoke every single night.

Dee had a photo of Piri that she would carry around in her pocket.

Distance really does make the heart grow fonder.

Wishing these two so much love and happiness.

Wishing the gorgeous Andriana and Dominic the most beautiful 1st wedding anniversary today!

Married by me on a very hot day, but that didn’t stop any of us having fun and sharing their love story.

Andriana and Dominic have a few different versions of how they met, however all versions are technically correct!

They first started speaking to each other through an online dating app – which is the modern way couples meet these days.

It was a Monday, Andriana was at her friend’s house when she got a message from Dominic asking how her weekend had been, the two of them got chatting and Dominic asked her out for coffee that coming Thursday.

They met up in person at Flinders Street Station, under the clocks - how very Melbourne!

They then walked to Manchester Press in one of the laneways for coffee - and got on so well that the quick catch up for a coffee turned into a 3-hour lunch - and the rest is history!

How lucky they are to have found one another!

Happy wedding anniversary to the gorgeous Liana & Adam!

Their wedding ceremony was such a beautiful celebration with an accordion player who was full of life.

Adam being the more emotional of the two, cried loads of happy tears as he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle to him.

I loved their beautiful email to me:

We intended meeting several celebrants and made several appointments, the first being with Keren. At this initial meeting Keren had such an impact that we cancelled meetings with alternative celebrants and decided very quickly to have Keren officiate at our wedding.

Nothing was too much trouble for Keren. Every interaction leading up to our big day was relaxed and easy going, by the time of the wedding day having Keren there was more like a friend marrying us. We appreciate Keren spending time on a “practice run” and she wrote and delivered a beautiful ceremony incorporating personal reflections of our “journey” to engagement and marriage.

As a mixed Jewish/Christian union, Keren was great at incorporating and balancing elements of both faiths into a single ceremony. On the day the ceremony, one of the qualities most notable was Keren’s extremely personable approach in introducing herself and assisting us in welcoming our guests. Both sides of our family commented on the very pleasant demeanour, humour and engagement of Keren as she officiated over our ceremony.

Thank you Keren. The day was more special for your presence and approach.

They exchanged rings and vows, before they kissed, there was a lot of love and happiness for them.

Wishing the gorgeous Jenna & Michael the best wedding anniversary today!

They found me through a Facebook group as they weren’t sure they would be able to be married by a Rabbi as only one of them was born Jewish.

Their wedding ceremony was full of cultural and meaningful traditions as well as the story of their love journey.

I loved staying for their reception to be their MC and hearing all the beautiful things their family and friends had to say about them.

I really have the best job in the world!

On October 7th, he was kidnapped from his home in Kfar Aza together with his wife Aviva, who was released after 51 days in Hamas captivity.

*Ofer Kalderon (54)* is a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz. As a carpenter specializing in kitchen design, he has dedicated himself to his craft, while pursuing his passions for cycling, hiking, and flying model planes. Family and friends describe him as warm, family-oriented, and uplifting. On October 7th, he was kidnapped from his home in Nir Oz together with his children Sahar and Erez, who were released after 52 days in Hamas captivity.

*Yarden Bibas (35)* is a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz. As a welder, he continuously develops his craft through learning new techniques, while enjoying music and stand-up comedy shows. Family and friends describe him as sensitive, caring, and good-humored, known for his big smile and kind eyes. On October 7th, he was kidnapped from his home in Nir Oz. His wife Shiri and their two sons, Ariel and Kfir, remain in Hamas captivity in Gaza.

Wishing the gorgeous Kim and Brad the most special wedding anniversary today!

Married by me in the beautiful gardens of the family home, under a Chuppah and SO much love!

We performed some Jewish traditions that were meaningful to Brad and Kim and their families, which everyone there enjoyed.

Wishing these two lovebirds, lots of love.

I love the email I received from Brad‘s mum the following day:

Happiest of wedding anniversaries to the gorgeous Janeca and Max!

You can just tell by our faces that we had loads of laughs for their wedding

Married by me (which is sadly closed now)

The pod went round once, which was plenty of time for me to share their love story with their intimate wedding party.

Then we all met up later on for a picnic

I loved being part of their day and I love seeing their regular photos on Insta!

Shez and John
Married by on 28.1.22

Gorgeous Shez and John finally had their wedding day, 5th time is the charm, in the very wet and torrential rain of The Dandenongs!

But the rain was NOT going to rain on their parade as stunning Shez walked down the aisle and her John could not take his eyes off her!

Their vows made us all all tear up and I feel so incredibly blessed to have been there to send them off down the aisle for the second time!

Shez and John are extremely thoughtful and deserve so much happiness.

They bought me the most beautiful bunch of colourful flowers, chocolates and a lovely card - how lucky am I?

Happiest of wedding anniversaries to the gorgeous Nicole and Daniel today!

Married by me under a stunning Chuppah and tree.

Their story and photos were so special they were included in magazine, and special they are!

When it was time for Daniel to propose, he contacted Nicole’s dad Simon.

Simon and Daniel met at a local café for a coffee, which is something that Simon would not
normally do, but Daniel told him that he had an early meeting near Simon’s office.

Simon was suspicious and initially thought that Daniel was either telling him that
a) they were moving to the US for work
b) they were breaking up OR
c) that he was asking for permission to marry Nicole

A week later, Daniel surprised Nicole with a weekend away at a luxurious hotel in Hepburn
Springs and arranged for Nicole to have a massage at the Hepburn Springs Day Spa.

While Nicole was enjoying her massage, Daniel was frantically setting up the room with a
heart shaped bed of roses, champagne, and candles.

Upon Nicole’s return to the room, a handwritten note and blindfold was left at the door
with instructions for Nicole to follow.

As Nicole entered the room and took off her blind fold, she realized what Daniel had
planned and was about to ask her, and she burst into tears of happiness!

How gorgeous is that?

A huge Congratulations to gorgeous Robyn & Carlo for their wedding a few years ago

Robyn is my husband’s and my 2nd cousin and when they asked me to be their Celebrant I was honoured!

They are the most warm and genuine couple you will ever meet!

Robyn & Carlo have been together for nearly 20 years - so the writing on the top of the cake is very fitting and reads “Finally”.

We stayed on for their party afterwards and danced the night away as their request to all the guests was to drink, dance and have fun!
