The Social Model of Disability shapes our values and frames our understanding and responsibility to access. Its key principle is that a person is disabled through environmental barriers, and we are committed to continuing to listen to how we can improve access at Footscray Community Arts.
This is why we developed a Disability and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP). A public document, the DIAP addresses community feedback through a list of key goals to enhance audience and artist experience with us.
