I am an inclusive, modern Authorised Celebrant who’s embarrassingly passionate about celebrating peoples’ stories. Actively involved in the LGBTQI+ scenes in the UK, Europe, and Australia I have been involved in a wide range of events, public speaking and production management in both a corporate and festival setting. As a native Melbournian, who also calls London and Berlin home, for me the light

bulb moment of wanting to become a Celebrant was when one of my favorite couples got engaged shortly after the UK opened up its arms to marriage equality, and I just knew that I wanted to be a part of the story. And I really do adore love stories. As an incurable romantic I want to work with people that are up for making their ceremony something incredible; a ceremony to remember above all else, and a day for you, and me, to celebrate - hopefully with as many laughs and smiles as possible along the way. Yes we try and run on time for the benefit of your, your guests and your runsheet, but I will ALWAYS take a moment to come and see you before you walk to make sure you have everything you need. CONGRATS JESS AND CURT 💚

Married 28/12/24 💍

On the 28th December 2024 Jess and Curt chose to close their year by marrying each other in front of their favourite people. The day was a family affair and so absolutely calm and serene that it had an over worldly beauty.

When Jess told me she was getting ready with 14 people I’m not going to lie - I thought it might be a bit overwhelming! Usually when I see people get ready with so many others the day can get stressful. But not for Jess and her crew. Everyone was working together to create the best day seamlessly and it was such a beautiful energy to walk into.

Curt was gifted a new watch for the occasion (featured on my outfit reel for the day!) and his tears of happiness were an even tie in matching the energy of Jess’ beautiful bridesmaids.

What a way to celebrate.

Thank you Jess and Curt for asking me to be involved. I adore you and your families, and have a feeling great things will be in store for you both.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “Where do I even begin? Precious is one of the kindest, funniest, down to earth human beings my partner and I have ever met.

We knew from the moment we met her on zoom that she had to marry us. From planning our ceremony to answering all my silly questions, Precious made us feel so at ease. Three weeks before our wedding, we had to organise with a few days notice a legal ceremony so my Mum who had gone into palliative care could attend. Precious was so incredibly supportive during this extremely distressing and challenging time and made everything so easy. Our private legal ceremony was so beautiful, giving us such beautiful memories with my Mum.

Precious was equally amazing on our wedding day. We also decided to have Precious stay on as MC for the reception - our guests adored her and she kept everything running so smoothly.

Oh my worrrrrrd!! What a celebration!!!!!!

Sophie and Meg are married and I’m so absolutely thrilled to have been a part of it! I originally met these wonderful women when I married Sophie’s cousin 7 years ago.

Sophie and Meg made their day their own through personalised margaritas (classic or spicy), having their puppy there and inviting all of the people they meant the most to them. The roar of sound that came through when they entered the ceremony space was next level and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (amiright Sue?!!)

So stoked to be part of such a beautiful celebration of life and love 🧡

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “Precious is worth her weight in gold and worth every cent. She was so phenomenal in the lead up to the day and on the day. I can’t speak more highly of her. Absolutely everyone she spoke with on the day (and even those she didn’t) commented on how absolutely fantastic she was. Even my very old fashioned grandmother thought she was beautiful (both inside and out). She coached us through every step, and even helped my very control-freak-self relax and reminded me to lighten up when I would panic.
She got my mum to dance and it’s felt so natural to have her there. She geniuely cares about her couples and feels like you have invited a friend to the wedding. I highly recommend her celebrant services and her Emcee services also, made for a seamless day and felt like having a wedding coordinator.

Hire Precious, it will be your best decision.

Precious, thank you so much for being yourself and bringing that into our special day. You are truly one of a kind in the best way imaginable.”

Belinda and LeRoy made their wedding day their own, which included having a runway style aisle. It meant that all of their guests could see the wedding party as they walked down the aisle, and a fabulous atmosphere during the wedding.

With an all black MET Gala inspired dress code, there really couldn’t have been a chicer way to kick off the celebrations 🖤🤵🏻‍♂️

Two more weddings left in my busiest year to date.

I am delighted to have lead 70 ceremonies this year for lovers who have come from all over to celebrate with friends and family. From intimate elopements to micro weddings, from weddings to love parties where everything was the same but no legal statuses were changed - it’s been amazing!

Karlene and Jason first met through the power of online dating. Which to me feels kind of right… I mean leave it to an Aerospace Engineer and a Finance Manager to be set up by an algorithm. There just feels something magic about that.

Having swiped right on each on Bumble in March 2019 they got to chatting and instantly clicked. Within a few weeks the time had come for them to meet in person and met up for a drink at Hello Jose in West Melbourne. Karlene’s first impressions of Jason were that he was shy and quiet, but she quickly realised how wrong she had been. Whereas Jason’s first impressions of Karlene were that she was smart, funny and self assured with a beautiful smile and a positivity that was infectious. And he was in every respect, right.

That night they shared their first conversation, their first laughs, and their first kiss. And they haven’t looked back since.

Around that time Karlene had bought a house in Reservoir, her childhood neighbourhood, and Jason had helped her move in. What she didn’t realise though was that Jason had also kinda moved in too. He started off by staying every now and then, which soon became every weekend, until they made it official and he moved in permanently in 2020. And the magic has just continued to grow.

Caiti and Jarrod knew from the beginning that they wanted a one of a kind wedding. And that’s exactly what they got.

There was a strong emphasis on family, because as Jarrod so elegantly told me, “family are the first people I’ve ever loved and they have helped shape me into the man I am today. Without their love and support I honestly wouldn’t know where I’d be.” To quote Jarrod’s Hierarchy of Life (not to be confused with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs), he considers Family (and the life lessons they bring) to be part of the base level, as they teach you all that is required to pour the foundations that are used for the rest of your life.

Or as another great man put it, he takes life a quarter mile at a time. Oh sorry, I mean he said “I don’t have friends, I have family.”

At , after 7 years sharing their love for each other, Jaclyn and Luke said I do to a life together.

A life built in a shared love of family, music and teaching (amongst other passions!), Jaclyn and Luke knew from the second time they met that they were meant for each other. It might have taken them 2 years to get to that point, but as soon as they did it was magic ✨

It was such a perfect day with smiles, laughter, cheekiness and such a warm feeling all round. Jaclyn and Luke SMASHED their vows and I can still hear Jac’s voice saying “I just feel so calm!”. It was also wonderful to work with again (something that doesn’t happen nearly enough!) and I’m still feeling full of so much love for this day.
