I am an inclusive, modern Authorised Celebrant who’s embarrassingly passionate about celebrating peoples’ stories. Actively involved in the LGBTQI+ scenes in the UK, Europe, and Australia I have been involved in a wide range of events, public speaking and production management in both a corporate and festival setting. As a native Melbournian, who also calls London and Berlin home, for me the light

bulb moment of wanting to become a Celebrant was when one of my favorite couples got engaged shortly after the UK opened up its arms to marriage equality, and I just knew that I wanted to be a part of the story. And I really do adore love stories. As an incurable romantic I want to work with people that are up for making their ceremony something incredible; a ceremony to remember above all else, and a day for you, and me, to celebrate - hopefully with as many laughs and smiles as possible along the way. It’s no secret that I love a dress code….

Personally my favourite is black tie - or a take on it. But that’s only because I love a great reason to wear a posh outfit. But to be honest I love them all… colourful cocktail, garden party, smart casual, all black MET Gala, double denim, white party - bring it on!!!!

Even if you’re not fussed about what your guests wear to your wedding it’s a really great idea to put the dress code on your invites. It lets people be reassured about what to wear, it’ll stop the ‘000s of questions you’ll get in the lead up, and can give people permission to dress up or down as the event requires.

“Jaclyn, who knew wagging my uni exam would lead me to finding my Italian principessa from‬ Bundoora. For those of you who don’t know, Jaclyn and I first met when she had served me‬ at JB HI FI. On this particular day, I was supposed to sit a music exam, but decided to wag it‬ because unfortunately, I was underprepared. I felt bad for flunking my exam so I decided to‬ reward myself with some retail therapy at JB HI FI.‬ To think, if I had sat that exam, I never would have learnt to make pasta sauce the proper‬ way in your Aunty Mary’s backyard. If you had called in sick for work that day, your Nonna‬ wouldn’t have introduced me to the best Italian drink - chinotto. If I hadn’t been my chatty‬ self at the counter, I never would have tasted Rosa’s famous almond biscotti. If you had‬ gone on break early, I may never have experienced a big Etz Christmas party, but most‬ importantly, I never would have met you. The most selfless, empathetic, compassionate‬ person I know. The kind of person who always puts other people’s needs in front of her own.‬

For that, I am truly honoured and proud to have you standing in front of me and marrying me‬ today.

So I promise to always love you through the great times, the bad times and the worse times.‬”

I have been DYYYYYYING for this one to go live! It’s honestly one of my favourite days and I’m still so obsessed with Clarissa’s outfit. It perfectly combined fashion with style, romance with modernity with just a touch of avant-garde.

CONGRATS HANNAH AND SAM 🩶

Married 21/2/25 💍

On Friday at in front of their friends and family, Hannah and Sam were married.

Sam had known from the moment he laid eyes on Hannah that she was his one. She was funny, intelligent, beautiful and kind. The whole package. Along the way they’ve become a team of three with Theo being an important part of the package.

Their wedding was beautiful and the tears were freely flowing even before Hannah’s vows broke everyone’s tear ducts and set the whole crowd on alight with their sobbing.

Hannah and Sam, it has been a joy marrying you and from the moment that I met you both I knew your wedding would be one of a kind. In the words of Fred Again, I adore you xx

My very first red envelope!!!!! Also known as an ang pau, or a hongbao.

🧧🧧🧧

Nathalia and David bestowed one on me after their wedding today. I knew that it was tradition to give the couple red envelopes on their wedding day (as well as children and unmarried people on Chinese new year) but I had no idea that it was a custom to give your wedding staff them too.

In my bedside drawer I have a little space where I’ve kept all of the love letters, postcards, and even some ticket stubs from events like silvester in Berlin. You had better believe this will be kept there too.

As for now - well I’ve completed my third of three weddings this weekend. My heart is full, my feet are up and I’m ready for a quiet night before a day with my little boy tomorrow.

To the three beautiful couples who asked me to marry them this weekend - thank you for trusting me with your story and for welcoming me into your families.

I adore you all 🩷

Super excited to be back at today for Hannah and Sam’s wedding 💍

Every time I’ve had a wedding here it’s been absolutely gorgeous. The guests have turned it out, the couoles have shone like sunshine and there’s been big smiles and laughs all round.

It was wonderful running into Nick and Nic a few weeks ago at Midsumma. I love seeing all of my couples (past and future) out in the wild and see how life has progressed.

But for now, it’s time to get ready for today ⚡️✨💫

Thea and Ryan had their wedding celebrations over two days. The first was a special ceremony at The Conservatory in Fitzroy Gardens, and then the following day they celebrated up big with friends and family at .

I was there to make things legally official, and was there to capture it all ❤️❤️

And even though we’ve already celebrated twice, please can we do it again already???

On the mic today for N + D’s wedding and thinking about all of the people I’ve been so blessed to marry over the last (almost) 8 years.

Blessed is such a cheesy way to say it, but I really do feel humbled and amazed and so f**king lucky that the people I’ve married have found me and booked me for their day. It’s a huge amount of trust I’ve been given and I’m always looking for ways to better myself in this role.

I’m a Celebrant, MC, mum, daughter, sister, retired party girl (well, mostly retired at least), ex wife, current lover, amateur gardener, knitter, writer, semi-decent scrabble player, red lipstick wearing, skincare obsessed, q***r, cis-gendered, thrice tattoed woman with Australian and British citizenship.

I’m at the higher end of affordable. My rate reflects my experience (350+ weddings and counting), my time spent creating the best wedding ceremony for you, and that I limit the amount of weddings I do a year so I can dedicate my time to you.

Megan and Chris combined old school wedding traditions with modern, romantic touches to make their wedding day absolutely perfect for them.

This included having a bridal party, but with mixed genders on both sides. They were married in the chapel at , but then celebrated late into the night at . And while we included touches of traditions in the ceremony, the language was all modern and light with humour sprinkled through.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “I have no words to describe how Precious made our day unforgettable—not just for my husband and me but for everyone who attended our wedding, too. She made everything perfect, from when we met her during the wedding planning right through our wedding afterparty. She helped my husband and me feel at ease, calm, and collected. When we first met Precious, we initially booked her as our celebrant. However, during that first meeting, we instantly loved her and asked if she could also be our MC. Thankfully, she said yes, which made us the luckiest couple!

I remember a special moment when I told Precious, just five minutes before walking down the aisle, about some of my relatives’ disappointing comments regarding our choice of not having a religious wedding and not being officiated by a pastor (my family is Catholic/Christian). She reassured me and shared what she would say as an introduction to the ceremony, emphasising our decision to marry in nature rather than in a church. It was honestly the most comforting thing to hear, and it sounded absolutely perfect when she said it during the ceremony. Our guests were in awe and agreed wholeheartedly, including my relatives who had made those initial comments.

If you’re looking for a celebrant/MC who is inclusive of all cultures, religions, sexualities, etc. and passionate and talented in her work, Precious is the one for you. Even my sister, who came from overseas, remarked when she returned to her home country, “Can I bring Precious home?” and “Can she officiate my wedding in the future?”.

Precious will definitely ensure that every little detail is organised and will run smoothly on your day, so you don’t have to think about anything else other than marrying your other half and being in the moment with your family and loved ones!
