I hope you are doing well and are excited about the Reconnect Yoga Retreat in Macedon Ranges! I wanted to share a bit about the retreat, the space, and workshops.

Retreat close: 1:00 pm Sunday 28th April 2024
How to get to the campsite: Rowallan Campsite is located adjacent to the Mt. Charlie State Forest at the Northeast end of the Macedon Ranges, approximately 1 hour Northwest of Melbourne or 30 minutes from Tullamarine Airport. The property is home to an abundance of native flora and fauna. So please be mindful and respectful to the local nature.
Upon arrival: When you arrive at the campsite, follow the signs up to the hill pass the Ranger's hut and head up towards the HQ Campsite. You can park your car in the car park and do not unload until you have registered at the registration desk which is in the dining hall near the car park. Once you are registered, please settle in your bunk beds or camping site.

Food: All the food is vegan except honey for chai. If you have any allergies or intolerance, please let us know upon arrival. If you are self-catering in the camping area, please don't consume meat or alcohol. If we find you with alcohol or illicit drugs onsite you will be required to leave the site with respect.
What to pack:
β’ Please remember to bring your Yoga Mats (we have spare ones if you need)
β’ Please bring warm cloths as it will get cold during night.
β’ Please bring your bedding and toiletries. There are mattresses in dorms. Rest of the bedding you bring your own. Also bring blankets and doonas.
β’ Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
β’ Bring a drink bottle.
β’ Bring walking shoes and loose clothing.
β’ There is a fireplace which we will have on during night depending on weather restrictions.
Retreat ethics:
We must respect the sacred land and its custodians the aboriginal community of the area and do not harm the local flora or fauna.
We respect each other and have a open conversation to gain trust.
We uplift each other and hold each other to dive deeper in their self-journey.
We respect the teachers and volunteers onsite who are help us with our journey during the retreat.
We share essential karma during the retreat a way to balance the energy and to help setup/pack-down and kitchen duties.
Other things to note:
Mauna (silence) will be in place from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. During this period, you spend time with yourself and process the day without making any communication with other beings.

What else to do nearby: Macedon Ranges are stunning and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Victoria. You can head to Mt Macedon for a scenic drive or a nice bush walk.
