The Mount Gambier New Years Eve Festival is back this year with a full night of entertainment for everyone, and of course fireworks!

There will be two fireworks displays, at 9pm for the kids and and another to ring in the new year at midnight, with plenty of entertainment and activities on offer.

Local hip hop artist skets music aka Esketamine will take the stage to perform after a successful year. Nic "Esketamine" Beare has released a number of new songs this year, and won the Beer and BBQ Fest "Untapped" competition at the festival in Adelaide in July.

Local band Skyline Haze are no stranger to the stage when it comes to public events, most recently at the Mil Lel Show and Tunes on Tap at the Woolstore Brewery, and will also be performing on the night.

Also performing will be Adelaide performer Adam Ludewig who appeared on The Voice in 2020, while Adelaide-based Ngarrindjeri reggae band Kineman Karma returns to Mount Gambier for what's set to be another great performance. Melbourne performer Drest will also be performing on the night, as well as singer songwriter Nancy Bates.

There will also be free activities including facepainting, bumper soccer, laser tag, jumping castles and much more, with food available for purchase from a number of food stalls.
