What a year was 2023!!

It's a wrap - with my last ceremony just yesterday.

I'm so grateful to have been chosen by so many beautiful couples, writing, storytelling and presenting, helping create their fairytale.

Big thanks to all of the vendors and venues we worked who shared their creative talents.

The biggest Thank you for the patience of my hubby as I work evenings and weekends. His a saint

2023 was a huge year for Sharon is my Celebrant - Sharon Campbell plus the launch of Elopements By Sharon. I have great plans for our family business, and can't wait to see what 2024 has in store!

Jordan + Brooke

Choosing to marry at the Cannons on Flagstaff Hill then have their reception at City Beach was the perfect way to start this marriage.
Surrounded by family and so many friends
They read their personal vows beautifully right after I told their story of how they came to be,
We added a tribute to their parents for what role models they had been in their lives growing up.
A wedding Videographer himself, Jordan was a perfectionist to the smaller details. Photos supplied by the Bride - it is so sweet to be remembered

Matthew + Natalie.

Matt and Natalie are a perfect example of getting it right 2nd time around. I think love is sweeter after lessons learnt, life lived when we are a little wiser and have the time to dedicate, be selfishly indulgent.

Natalie's Son Zac, played accoustic guitar as his Mum down the aisle. Matt and Zac have a very caring gentle relationship. Refreshing to watch

The weather wasn't kind but we were all warm and safe within City Beach Function Centre rearranged especially for our ceremony. Plan B is essential and just one benefit in picking this high end venue

Wade + Casey.

An afternoon Ceremony for Casey and Wade in a beautiful country setting. The breeze picked up and as the ceremony went on the clouds got darker and darker. Spitting at the end but the rain turned to hail and then it passed
That's the South Coast for you

However I may have missed out on joining my couple in the jumping castle, they got to play after their photos

Casey and Wade are such a cute couple. Casey put it on fb she wanted to meet bearded mechanic one day and that's exactly what Wade is. But Casey says he is so much better than anyone she could imagine and we can't help but agree.

Anthony + Jenna + Harmony

Naming Ceremony and Wedding all in one massive Celebration

Harmony was named on her 1st Birthday.
We sprinkled petals, introducing her Godparents with nice words about them
Her God Mum Ella played guitar and sung Harmony a song
Finishing with Happy Birthday & cake cutting

Quick dash home for Mum...then she came back looking like a bride ..bridal party in tow

Jenna walked down the aisle with Nephew Levi teary thinking of her Dad who just passed.
Anthony's teenage kids presented the rings, ensuring every member of this family know their worth and they are valued.

This nerdy Pop Culture, Princess, Star wars, Fairytale loving couple married on Wollongong City Beach folliwed by reception at City Beach.

I can't tell you how cute these two were.

Lovers of travel...covid clipped their wings so they used their time wisely got all snuggly and started a family. Skylar looked every bit the princess that Mummy did.

Ben proposed on New Year's Eve on top of a ferris wheel in Japan ...great job Ben...

This loved up professional couple from Sydney chose The Stables to be the perfect venue to start their marriage.
Such a confident couple reading their personal vows with full conviction.
Included was a bearded bubble boy
Remembering dad who has passed through story not a standalone comment was very nice
A picture perfect bridal party supporting the sporting mad English man who came to Australia and fell in love with the prettiest of Aussie girls.

Jack +Alexandra.

This girl is like my daughter. As a photographer we work together regularly so when Al asked me to be the one to marry them I couldn't be more honoured.
Alex looked like a princess
I wrote a personal ceremony that totally reflected them. Their kids were so cute
Jack a proud Aboriginal Man we included a Welcome to Country for his family and other guests present
Sister Kelly did a heartfelt reading
A colour theme of blue and white added an extra special touch.
A pizza van kept the pizza coming. Guests danced selected songs on the duke box and as the sun went down we sat around a fire pit.
Figbird is the perfect farm venue with a huge marquee.
