Last Friday (11-3-2022) I officiated the wedding of Carley and Dylan at their home in Morwell. Both Carley and Dylan along with besties and family members decorated the back yard. They did an amazing job and it looked like a page out of a fairy tale book.
Mainly family and 'besties' attended. The atmosphere was ever so warm and friendly where everyone introduced themselves and offered their help where needed.
Carley and Dylan walked out of their backdoor holding hands. The love between them was palpable all afternoon and during the ceremony. It was a beautiful day all round.

On Saturday the 18th September I was honoured to officiate at the wedding of James and Lateasha at Old Gippstown Heritage Park in Moe.

In keeping with Covid restrictions the wedding was attended by both sets of parents along with only their closest of friends.

The sun came out at the same time Lateasha arrived and stayed out until after the ceremony.

Covid was not going to spoil the romance of the day for these two school sweethearts to be married on their special day. The couple wrote their own vows to each other which made the ceremony that much more romantic.

Lateasha looked absolutely stunning and beautiful in her white Grecian styled gown whilst her two besties looked gorgeous in their red and teal coloured gowns.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs McKean and I wish you all the happiness in the coming years.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs McKean

On Saturday , the 18th September, I was honoured to officiate the marriage between Lateasha and James at Old Gippstown Heritage Park in Moe.

Even tho the number of guests were limited, which consisted of their parents and very close friends, it was a very romantic occasion which Covid couldn’t take away.

Covid couldn’t stop these high school sweethearts from being married on their special day.

The sun came out to shine when Lateasha arrived and stayed out until after the ceremony.

Lateasha looked absolutely stunning in a Grecian style white wedding gown. Two of Lateasha’s very best friends ,who were in the bridal party, looked beautiful in their red and teal coloured gowns.

The couple wrote their own vows which also lent to the romance of the occassion.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs McKean and wishing you both every happiness throughout the coming years.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Griffiths
Married 15/5/2021

I officiated at a wedding in Churchill for John and Fiona yesterday on the 15/5/21. They are both huge Collingwood fans and wanted a Collingwood themed wedding.
So with the help of Joslyn Edebohls the wedding space was decorated with black and white and it looked fabulous as usual. Thank you Jos.
At least fifty plus guests were wearing black and white along with their football vests on including the bride and the wedding party. The remainder of the guests wore their football colours including their football vests.
It was a wonderful, colourfuland family orientated wedding. (13 adult children)
The atmosphere was laidback, relaxed and welcomely, I loved it.
Congratulation again Mr & Mrs Griffiths

On the 24/4/2021 I officiated at Joseph and Sandra’s surprise wedding which was held at the Duck Inn at Willow Grove. Some of the sixty plus guests had an idea that a wedding was imminent but overall most were surprised. It was a real pleasure to officiate at a wedding where the love between a couple is just so palpable. Sandra looked radiant and Joseph looked so very happy and he couldn’t take his eyes off his beautiful bride. Joseph and Sandra are moving to the Sunshine Coast where they will begin a new chapter in their lives and they will definitely be living the dream.
Congratulations again

On Sunday the 20/12/2020 I officiated at James and Chesels’ wedding. The wedding took place at the beautiful, romantic Warragul Civic Gardens under the Gazebo. The vows that each wrote to each other were well thought out and ever so romantic.

The wedding was attended by their special family and friends. James family from overseas watched the whole ceremony with an app on James phone.

Chesel looed absolutely amazing in her full length dress complete with a rose garland in her hair together with a matching posie. They both radiated happiness and love for each other.

I wish both of them all the happiness for the forthcoming years.

Yesterday (13/6/2020)I had the honor of officiating at Peter and Tracey’s wedding which was held in my back yard. Keeping with the maximum of 20 persons, the wedding was attended mainly by family members.

Tracey looked absolutely radiant and beautiful and the happiness and love between this lovely couple was very evident.

The atmosphere was fun filled, warm, very romantic and family orientated. It was an amazing day. And as an added bonus, the day was rain free.

And thanks must go to Joclyn Edebohls who worked her magic with her decorating skills to make the ceremony space and my back yard look like a million dollars.

Congratulations
Mr and Mrs Peter and Tracey Clark.

On Saturday the 21sr March, 2020, I was honoured to officiate at the wedding of Mandy and Jason.
The Wedding was held at the Heyfield Apex Park with beautiful roses as the backdrop. Approximately 40 family and friends attended with some guests travelling from interstate. The weather was perfect and the rain stayed away.
Mandy looked beautiful in her ivory lace gown with pearls in her hair. Mandys mum, Gail, escorted her to bless the marriage and present Mandy to Jason.
The bridesmaids and flower girls were family and looked gorgeous in their dusky pink gowns with the little flower girls dressed in pink tulle.
Jason looked good also and all the boys wore dark suits and really looked the part.
The wedding was followed by a reception at the 3858 restaurant.
All in all, the atmosphere on the day was welcoming and friendly to the point I felt like one of the family. A really great day.
Congratulations Jason and Mandy

John and Elizabeth Matherson celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary with a Renewal of Vows Ceremony on Saturday 14/03/2020.

After 25 years of happily married life they both thought it only fitting to renew their wedding vows to each other.

The ceremony was held at the Morwell Rose Garden and the weather was perfect as were the roses in full bloom.

Approximately thirty to forty family and friends from near and far attended on the day with some arriving from interstate.

Liz looked absolutely radiant dressed in blue and white with a matching fascinator whilst John looked the part dressed in a dark suit and shirt.

The reception was held at the Morwell Bowling Club.

Congratulations John and Liz and wish you many more years of happiness as a married couple.

On the 29th February 2020, I officiated at the wedding of Susan and Jayson.
The wedding was held at Warrook Farm, Monomeith which gave the desired rustic effect that the couple wanted. There was approximately 70-80 family and friends in attendance with some of the guests coming from interstate.
Susan looked absolutely beautiful and elegant in a white lace fitted fishtail gown whilst her bridesmaids looked amazing in their burgundy modern dresses as well as the cute flower girl and pageboy in their matching coloured outfits.

The whole day was centred around family who were involved in all aspects of the day, ranging from the main bridal party, including her dad Barry who presented Susan to Jayson and Susan’s and Jayson,s family and friends who rallied around helping with all aspects of the day.

There were many highlights on the day and one that really stood out was the choreographed dance. Susan and Jayson,s dance was a real hit with the dance finishing off with the bridal party joining in near the end.

The kids on the day done real well, with not only the zoo but with Mr Ice-cream man in attendance and an activity table for the kids along with a lollipop bar.

The end of the evening seen both Susan and Jayson showing off their whip cracking skills.
Congratulations Susan and Jayson

24/02/2020

On the 9th February, Tyler Kenneth Lesley Stephens was formally introduced to the world by way of a Naming Day which I was delighted to officiate at.

Family is ever so important to both parents, Skye and Jai,. This was evidenced by the number of family and very close friends who were there on the day.

Also Tyler wore a little white satin outfit which is fast becoming a family tradition outfit. Tyler has also been given both his grandfathers names of Kenneth and Lesley which will also strengthen the ties between both Jai and Skye families.

The atmosphere on the day was warm, friendly and casual but it all become a bit too much for Tyler who fell asleep before the final Naming announcement . It was as if Tyler said to him self “ Mum and Dad know what they are doing so I shall leave the rest of the ceremony to them.”

Congratulations

On Saturday the 15th of February, Mel and Thomas tied the knot, so to speak. I was honoured by being the officiate celebrant on the day at their wedding.

The wedding took place at Victory Park in Traralgon. The wedding was well attended by family and guests. There was approximately 100 family and friends present. For me it was like “old friends week” as I had officiated at some of their weddings and I met up with people I hadn’t seen for a long time.

Family is very important to Mel and Thomas and this was evident as the wedding party were mainly family members.

Mel looked absolutely beautiful in a white strapless tulle layered gown and the bridal party mainly wore maroon dresses and accessories .

The weather held off for the entrance of the bride and bridal party even tho thunderstorms and heavy rain had been forecast. That has to mean good luck for Mel and Thomas as they enter a new chapter in their lives.

The wedding reception was held at the MOE RSL .
Congratulation

On the 8/2/2020 I officiated at the wedding of Greg and Jodi which was held at Rosedale. Approximately 60 family and friends attended the ceremony.

Jodi wore a beautiful white gown and a she looked absolutely amazing.

The wedding was held in their backyard and it looked really manicured and was wonderfully decorated along with a beautifully decorated archway. The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Both Jodi and Greg had a great idea in that all guests were asked to bring a chair altho there was some beautifully comfortable outdoor seating available.

It worked really well as the majority of the guests bought along their chairs and were able to sit and enjoy the great variety of food and drinks that was available after the ceremony. Indeed a great idea in that seating is one less thing to organise. I would recommend this idea.

Congratulations
