What did everyone have for dinner tonight? We did a freezer dive!
Found some of my Spaghetti Sauce, so put it atop garlic bread, grated cheese over each piece then added a generous serving of sour cream 😋

My Registration is part time & there is only 1 of me plus I am still recovering from a hip replacement AND I also have a torn Meniscus, damaged ACL & tendon/groin issue.

My family & I are also progressing through some historical legal matters which will be ongoing for some time so I’ll be closing my Kitchen late August and I am unsure of what my business plan will look like for the remainder of 2024.
Please, enjoy my homemade meals while you can 💜

Apart from starting at 6.30am on cooking days, there’s also a specific order I need to cook your orders in to ensure they reach the minimum and correct temperature prior to pick up & delivery.

🥇 solid items such as Lasagne and Macaroni & Bacon Bake take longer to chill down than Fried Rice and Singapore Noodles.

🥈 items requested to be packed into 650ml containers take less time to chill down compared to items requested to be packed into a family foil tray.

🥉 orders requested to be picked up at 1130am are cooked ahead of those being delivered between 12noon and 2pm and others being picked up at 4.45pm.

So, I’m not only reminding you about your pick up or delivery time when I interrupt your day with my message, I’m also planning the order in which I cook it!
Trying to factor in these three things can be challenging (which I love as I’m a planner & love to be organised) but it ensures all food leaving my Kitchen will be under the regulated 5°

{My delivery fees, as of January 1st, will remain the same for the remainder of 2024}

I’m doing the best I can given the circumstances and pushing myself daily, both physically and mentally, to achieve the quantity and quality meals you enjoy.

I will never be able to please you all and I won’t attempt to even try. My goals are to continue to enjoy what I do, to the highest standards possible and not hinder my recovery and rehabilitation in the process.

I’ll be closing my Kitchen late August and am unsure of what my business plan will look like for the remainder of 2024 so please, enjoy my homemade meals while you can 💜

At Chelle’s Made to Order, I aim to deliver quality, nutritious meals that are suitable for the majority of households & dietary requirements.
A lot of planning, preparation and thought processes go into every aspect.
Being a small micro business, I cannot afford nor take the risk that customers forget/change their mind/don’t want it now. Customer payment is confirmation & allows me to secure your order and purchase the necessary ingredients ahead of time, wash & prep if necessary and plan cook/chill down times.

My payment stipulation is posted on the menu, customers are contacted after placing orders and given amounts owed with dates due along with banking details. They are also messaged the day prior/day due as a reminder, although most generously transfer at the time of ordering.

Almost every week, I’m asked if cash payment can be made instead. I do appreciate the offer of cash however for me, it’s not an efficient way to operate. Bank transfers attract no fees and is a more sanitary way to operate my catering business.

All payments by direct transfer should be received 48 hours prior to delivery with a screenshot sent via PM appreciated 💜

National Lasagne Day is tomorrow, July 29th. This week, I made 12 extra large Lasagne so hopefully 12 families could enjoy a stress-free dinner and some lunches.

This time lapse video is from Monday morning at 7.15am whilst I made 2 batches of Honey Mustard Chicken w’Basmati. What you don’t see is the Panadol & Voltarin taken 45 minutes prior to filming, the limited movement I still have 12+ weeks since surgery or the 2 hours it took to recover & rest afterwards. I still have a long way to go before I’m considering extending my days back to 4 a week and can offer delivery. Have a great weekend- Im going to be navigating my way around Melbourne in a wheelchair with my husband in an attempt to see P!NK 💕

So…my intention was to show you a time lapse of making Caesar Salads but somehow I recorded in real time 🤦‍♀️ this is 60 seconds instead of 46 minutes!

Want to know what’s in my Spring Rolls? All freshly cooked meat, noodles & veg! If only I could wrap 90 spring rolls this quickly 😆 These were done on Friday & delivered to customers along with their Fried Rice [My next menu will be posted on Wednesday night at 7pm]
