I am excited for a special family wedding next Friday and will have the pleasure of spending most of the week prepping the flowers for it.

Unfortunately as it’s just me in the studio, I will be unable to fill additional orders between Tuesday and Friday.

Wedding season is busy and a bit of a time juggle but I love it and there is nothing better than putting together flowers for couples on their wedding day ; one of the most important and memorable days of their lives 🤍

Just a heads up too, I am booked for a wedding the following week too, so please look out for opening times for 3/11 - 7/11.

I’ve loved this since we were first married, 33 years ago when we had a beautiful big tree in our yard of the first house we bought. I’ve planted one at nearly every property we have lived at and there have been a lot! Last count 15, 8 towns, 3 countries.

Its flowers are like miniature hydrangea balls that start out lime green and in a short time transform to a gorgeous lime tinged cream.

It only lasts for about 1-2 weeks on the tree but while it’s at its peak I pick as much as I can. So beautiful but such a short season. Maybe that’s why I appreciate it so much while it’s flowering.
