Position Description
The position is for weekend work but can sometimes include mid week delivery. This is based on the successful applicant’s availability. This is consistent, ongoing work and we are looking for someone long-term. It is a casual position with guaranteed hours every weekend (approx. 15-20 hours per week) so the ideal candidate must be available on these days. The role involves loading & unloading of trucks and delivery to various events around Melbourne.
Position Requirements
We are looking for a hard-working and energetic individual that has great presentation and confidence when dealing with customers. There is some heavy lifting involved so a reasonable level of fitness and strength is required. This role requires you to work mainly on your own so you must be comfortable working autonomously whilst representing our business in a courteous and professional manner. Due to the independence provided with this role, it is imperative that you are reliable, trust-worthy and able to follow instructions as well as use your own initiative. You will be driving a 4.5 tonne car-licensed manual truck so experience driving larger C-class vehicles is a must, along with a clean driving record and valid Australian driving license. You must have a mobile phone with a GPS (Google Maps or similar). We are based in Notting Hill and encourage locals to apply.
