I was waiting at the gate today for my clients to arrive for their sunset session, just leaning against the jeep watching the clouds pass while the clock ticked away thinking about the session, the couple and pondering the editing pile that was waiting for me tonight that represents hours and hours attached to the computer. It had me question the notion of headspace and how sometimes if we have one foot in yesterday and one foot in tomorrow that we might miss the beauty right in front of us . Although it's easy to appreciate life through the camera it's hard to transfer that skill to the day to day to dwell in the quiet between milestones .....this image I took for me..... and anyone else who needs a reminder to slow it down and enjoy life frame by frame.

"I fall in love everyday with these mountains as I wander around the place camera in hand..sometimes with clients photographing a session and sometimes without, it's beautiful every moment in every weather but just on sunset as the last ray reaches the ranges curves always brings me to a halt. The child in me wants to hold their breathe to see if I can make the moment last longer....it never does but there is always tomorrow to try again," Cassandra Miller

2024 is looking to be a really busy year for bookings - with this in mind I have created a booking portal for regular clients that includes Sunday sessions for Family Portraits and also Monday Mini sessions. Both these sessions are discounted to say thank you for your ongoing support. This is my way of ensuring my loved repeat clients enjoy a discount and also that you have a spot allocated on the calendar for 2024 . This calendar will open today and be able to be accessed right through until New Years Eve . If you'd like to secure a weekend Sunday spot at a discounted price for 2024 or a Monday Mini Session then this is your opportunity. There was fun, love, food dance and joy....plus a name change and a tree planting. This images sums up exactly why we love Laura Frank , these kids will never forget the moment their favourite country star invited them onto the stage to sing along to their favourite song. Laura has so much talent all packaged in with a big heart but it's her ability to balance humility while navigating the music industry that is truly inspiring. If you haven't jumped on the Frank Train yet now is the time to turn on your ears, open your heart and get streaming.
🧡 Saturday night - Leavin' release party 🧡 These guys rocked up in their own I 🧡 Laura Frank Shirts, got their mums to buy them Frank hats, sat front and centre and sang as loud as they could to all the tunes they knew (all of the released ones). It was THE best! So when they requested Days Gone By at the end of the show, I had to invite them up on stage to sing it with me!
