Hi flower friends! I just wanted to pop in and say a big hello and welcome you to my little corner of the flower world.

I’m totally obsessed with growing cut flowers and spending my days creating bouquets and other flowery things. It honestly never gets old! I’m now in my second year of weddings and especially love getting to chat to brides to help ease some stress & bring their floral dreams to life. In consultations, I’m often told ‘I trust you’ and wow, those 3 words mean a lot. It gives me the freedom to be creative and really pour my heart into every design. I definitely do not take it for granted. 💕

As the summer growing season is coming to an end, I’m looking forward to soaking up some sunshine and watching my new seedlings grow & bloom closer to Spring!🌱

In the meantime, I’ll be keeping myself busy with several beautiful weddings booked in, which I can’t wait to work on. 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️👰

Still in awe of this Tuscan-themed collab I was able to partake in with published in Volume 37 of The Brides Tree magazine!

For this photo shoot, I, created a rustic Italian style bouquet featuring olive foliage, dancing lady orchids, lisianthus, winged everlastings and wax flower with some yellow & brown centred chrysanthemums. The wedding venue was a late change due to torrential rain, and it could not have been any more perfect! 👌🏼😍

Ok, so my first Valentine’s Day ran smoothly. Grateful to have orders spread out over 2 days. I was also tasked with re-creating a wedding bouquet as a special VD gift to this gentleman’s wife. So thoughtful! 🥰

Between picking up roses and other blooms from the wholesaler, prepping them all, storing them all, creating the bouquets with a high attention to detail (I’m a little bit of a perfectionist 😜) and then the clean up…I’m ready for a chilled out night!

My heart is happy though. Hope you were all shown love & appreciation today. HVD! ♥️

✨ Reflection on 2024 ✨

This past year has been nothing short of incredible. It all began with a leap of faith, leaving my previous job to focus solely on Floralique. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of planting more garden beds, nurturing countless seedlings and watching dreams bloom into reality.

2024 also marked a major milestone: Floralique’s first wedding season. 💍 It was a journey filled with learning, growth and so much joy (and a little stress!). Collaborating with Magnolia Lakehouse and The Brides Tree as well as local businesses was a highlight - an amazing experience that pushed me creatively and provided invaluable exposure.

I’m thrilled to share that Floralique even made an appearance in iDo Magazine! To be included among so many talented Sunshine Coast vendors is such an honour. 💕

Looking back, this year has been one of transformation and endless inspiration. I’m proud of how far I’ve come in my floral journey - every baby step has brought me closer to my vision. With several weddings already booked, 2025 is looking bright and I’m beyond excited.
