Who would have thought that Lauren would end up marrying that annoying boy from school who threw a grape at her and stained her formal uniform.

But on June 29th, they got hitched on a perfect day.

Jarryd even promised, 'What's mine is yours, except the land cruiser, the boat and the meat smoker'

It may have been their big day, but they both remembered it was also my birthday, which was definitely unexpected, and so appreciated.

Congratulations you two, and here's to loads of great fishing trips together!

This weekend packed up and headed down to to celebrate love with handfasting ceremonies. We met some amazing people and were awed by the beauty of Glen Innes and surrounds. We had some wonderful meals and were warmly welcomed at the Jillaroo Hotel.

The weather put on the celtic charm with loads of rain so unfortunately we had to head home early.

Huge props to Mark the Magician, who helped us with our site, stepped up when needed and was an all round awesome bloke under some stressful conditions for an event manager. You are a legend and every stallholde owes you a beer when next in town.

Even with the challenges, we had a great weekend, and we will be heading back to the cold again next year.

Thank you again for putting on such a wonderful event!
