Planning a Moreton Island Wedding or Kooringal elopement just got easier 😉

Kerri will meet you at Reeders for your ceremony when the boat arrives and then head to The Gutter Bar to celebrate before heading home 😉

Don't forget a month's notice is required for your Notice of Intent to Marriage, and you can lodge this virtually with Kerri or bring your own celebrant.

Kooringal Service

This service is now running Saturday and Sunday via Amity Point from both Howard Smith Wharves/Hamilton Northshore and Manly.

The landing and departure point is generally “Reeders Point” just South of the Kooringal township but may vary due to tide and weather conditions. You will notice we have allowed extra time in our schedule for these contingencies.

To visit Kooringal, please book a ticket from the city or Manly to Amity and then a second ticket to Kooringal.

The Gutter Bar is a local island bar that is "World Famous".

The bar named for it's location at Days Gutter in Kooringal and is a great place to head to after your intimate elopement.

The bar has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The bar also has a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Coming from someone who grew up travelling overseas who’s seen so many beautiful different places, their home, Moreton Island takes the cake!

Her husband and her had the pleasure of having a small intimate elopement ceremony with Kerri at Reeders Point, Kooringal, Moreton Island a few years ago. After experiencing first hand the pure intimacy of eloping at a location that is so special to their hearts; she quickly grew an enormous passion for photographing elopement ceremonies.
