Kooroomba has been created as a unique tourist destination, nestled in the Fassifern Valley at Mt Alford near Boonah, about 65 minutes from Brisbane and 1hr 45minutes from the Gold Coast.The property consists of a cellar door, restaurant and lavender shop which overlooks a six hectare vineyard and a breathtaking lavender field, with magnificent views of the Scenic Rim mountains. Kooroomba Vineyard

and Lavender Farm provides a southern France experience on the doorstep of Brisbane and is the perfect setting for a relaxing day away.Principals Bob and Marlene Carroll have invested $3 million into the development, which is seven years in the making. The award winning cellar door/restaurant complex is of a 5 star level and is a blend of rustic and contemporary architecture. The wine marketed from the cellar door is from grape grown on the property, which along with the Modern Australian cuisine served in the restaurant from local produce provides a unique regional wine and food experience. Kooroomba has a large variety of wines including Chardonnay, Verdelho Marsanne, Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot. The unusual Verdelho Marsanne blend has been served in Paris
and received high praise from the French people who tasted it. The lavender fields have a number of varieties of lavender
– English, French, Italian, New Zealand and Australian designed to provide flower most of the year.

Heritage Hatching and Hens you threw one lovely Scenic Rim Eat Local Month event! After a crazy Sunday at work Chef Daniel, Rhys and Cameron all headed over to Harrisville for another full service wowing 60 guests with the most flavoursome chicken dishes and of course a tasty drop of Kooroomba wine.

Are you friendly, energetic, and passionate about providing excellent customer service? Kooroomba is a place where we deliver great food and memorable dining and wedding experiences!

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests with a welcoming attitude
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Deliver orders promptly and check on guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
Work with team members to ensure smooth restaurant and weddings both operate smoothly
Need to be able to stay after 10pm to close weddings

Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Own transport is essential

This position will see you working in our restaurant, cellar and weddings. It is a fulling role which will see you form lasting relationships with repeat customers and wedding couples celebrating their anniversaries!
