On Sunday I got to enjoy another beautiful wedding, but as a guest.
Wedding season is just the best fun.

Ben & Dani kicked off their happily ever after at A Rustik Meadow. It was a great space, any couples looking for a wedding venue should definitely check it out.

Yesterday we got to do our most special wedding yet - my dear friends Jess & Mick.

It was an emotional roller coaster, a ceremony full of laughter, happy tears, sad tears, and most importantly LOVE ❤️

It was a bit windy and sunnier than I’d planned on - I won’t forget the sunscreen again!
My roadie Jack won’t forget his sunnies next time either. ☀️ 🕶️

Who says their vows first during your ceremony?

This is totally up to you. Traditionally the male would say vows first, but I’m not a traditional stickler so get creative. A few ideas to decide who goes first:

❤️ The one that’s likely to get most emotional hearing the others vows - get the crier to go 2nd. 😭
❤️ Coin toss
🎲 Roll dice. Great for any D & D fans too!
❤️ Rock paper scissors - we can do this during the ceremony if you like = awesome cool photos
❤️ Guests choice - let’s ask the crowd!

My mother is a hoarder…this reading is from my own wedding -almost 20 years ago!

My kids have been cleaning up her spare room these school holidays and stumbled across a box of unused bubbles, reception venue menus and burnt CDs for the ceremony ⛪️

The happy couple included a hand fasting in their ceremony.

Kayla’s daughters created the most gorgeous sand art with Kayla & Hunter to signify the joining of their families.

Just as these grains of sand can never be separated, our wish for you is that your lives together are longer than the time it would take to separate the individual grains of sand. ❤️

Sand ceremonies are a symbolic way to show the unification of two families, or the blending of families - especially awesome way to include kiddos during the ceremony.

I’ve got you!

As your celebrant I can hang onto your wedding vows and whip them out for you to read.
Don’t stress about forgetting your vows, leaving them in the car or getting them smushed in your hands.
I’ll hold onto your vows and you can either read from your notes or cards, or we can do a simple repeat after me….whatever you want is how I roll.

I’ve been away in Cambodia for a couple of weeks, on a trip with one of my own bridesmaids (from my wedding almost 20 years ago!).

Your bridal party are an integral part of your wedding day - not only making sure the bride/groom are organised, but your bridesmaids and groomsmen can also be your legal witnesses, recite a meaningful poem or reading, or even sing a song.

There are so many ways we can include your bridal party in your special day.
