Crispy rice with torched spicy salmon and green chilli.

I did make these a while back but couldn’t get the crispy rice to cooperate. Now that’s sorted she’s ready for her wedding debut!!

I love holidays, a time to reset and let the creativity come to life!!
I’ve been working a small menu revamp. Once I would pull out all the cooking books and magazines for inspiration, see what’s trending and what sticks out to me. These days I tend to turn to Insta, my feed is always filled with food and amazing content! I saw a smashed potato post which got me thinking 🤔 formulated a plan, troubleshooting some issues and we have a new canapé!
Potato latkes with lemon crème fraiche and smoked salmon…
I particularly love the crispy edges on the potato, and the paired back simple look of these. They are also Gluten Free which is a winner!!

Safe to say this is Mudgee Mades signature dish!! Double Brie with candied walnuts and local honey! Still get at least 5 recipes requests for the candied walnuts every function!! I don’t think we have ever had two the same with Tanya’s ever growing florals adorning the platter, probably her favourite party of the wedding day😂

Dessert or not to dessert at your wedding??
Of course we will say OH HELL YES!!! We have plenty of delicious desserts to end your special night!
You could go with the most popular chocolate mousse or the new lemon cheese cakes topped with dehydrated lemon slices. We also recommend a tart and the salted caramel have been a Mudgee cult favourite from our Farmers Market days for years! What ever you choose know your guests will be leaving your wedding a little sweeter 🥰

A big Happy Birthday to who turned 18 this week!! Gabrielle’s mum Rhiannon has worked for Mudgee Made since the beginning so naturally when Gabrielle turned 11 or 12 she started bringing her along. All of the Mudgee Made crew has had the pleasure of watching Gabrielle grow up in front of our eyes into the beautiful, kind, smart young women she is today!

Have you been hankering for a Mudgee Made Sausage Roll ? Looking into the freezer wishing you could whip something up for unexpected guests? Did I mention school holidays and ravenous kids! Well the wait is over 💃💃💃

For now it’s a bit of a “One Night Only” type of situation. Except it’s this Saturday, and I’ll be doing some fundraising for the Mudgee Junior Rugby League Club.

I’ll be set up from around 8:30 at Cahill Park at the Club House.

I’ll be taking preorders for those that would like to stock up on their favourite rolls.

Preorder Pack $40 - 5 x frozen uncooked logs, that’s 10 full size Sausage Rolls or 30 cocktail size. Can mix flavours

These Chocolate Brownie Cookies are a Mudgee crowd favourite we have made 1000’s of these and they always a top seller! Now you can bring a little bit of Mudgee Made sweetness to your Easter Weekend😘

What you need- Mix master, bowl suitable for microwave, spoons, spatula, measuring spoons, knife, chopping board kitchen scales (only for measuring ingredients) and a piping bag (optional if you have one, don’t worry if you don’t) .

Pre Measure- get your self or little ones organised and ready by measuring out the ingredients! If you don’t have scales send me a pm and i’ll give you metric measurements😊

Appreciation Post!!! We set out today to spread a little love and kindness, and if we made a few people smile in what can only be described as a chaotic and stressful day our job was done!!! All the supermarket staff, butchers, bakers, chemists are all working so hard for our community, i really believe they are our “front line” right now. I get it people are scared and frightened and it doesn’t alway bring out the best in us, just remember sometimes you really do just need to ‘stop and smell the roses and.... smile’.❤️❤️ Love to all Lara and Tanya

Congrats on being the boss lady of your life 🙌🏻 Gals that we want to appreciate today are our Mudgee Made family....
💫Rhiannon first activity is to reorganise the kitchen! She is the one who can draw up the family tree and in her apron pocket is a serviette, if your name is on it she’ll find you! You will go from being the GF Veg to a new friend. We love her as much as Fleetwood Mac after 4 Pinot’s (that’s a lot!)
🎼Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night and Wouldn't you love to love her? 🎼
💫Dotty do-little (couldn’t be further from the truth which is why it’s so funny 😂) she IS actually family but that’s Mudgee for you.. No excuses ever, make it happen now with no BS! The best company ever under any circumstances- fear of nothing (except gas bottles)
💫Leiza the leveller! The big sister that we never knew we needed till we had her.... the biggest smile in the business with a ‘let’s do this’ attitude - I’m starting to see a pattern forming....

Ummmm I can’t believe i didn’t post a photo of this dessert table from November last year! Super simple with a cake and two types of little desserts however it still manages to create a beautiful focal point and get the guests excited for dessert🌈 .
