This article is very eye opening. Always wondered how the supermarket could sell flowers for less than we can buy them. Our wholesaler does supply African roses which we have sometimes purchased but after reading this our practice will change.
Pots and Posies will not knowingly support the suppression of these workers.

A bouquet of flowers is the go-to gift for many special occasions but the world is paying a high price for transporting our out-of-season blooms.
