Introducing... MOE ALOHA 🎵

Founder of Burning Seeds Temple of Boom and Melbourne’s Celestial Gathering, Moe Aloha’s sounds are as expansive as the spaces he creates.

Each set is delicately curated for the time and place but he is most renowned for his unique blend of psychedelic yet soulful deep house & techno.

Moe Aloha is a regular feature at Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Strawberry Fields, and Rainbow Serpent as well as Melbourne’s Club Circuit.

Introducing... SYNCHROMYSTIC 🎵

Making a return to The Lab, this wonderful being’s foray into DJ-ing began in Broome, WA at the infamous Tokyo Joe’s Nightclub in 1994 - 95. Learning on the Denon DN-2000F MK II Double CD Player, he then moved back to Fremantle to be a part of the vibrant unfolding underground music scene there, where he picked up his vinyl skills. Life, as it does, then took him in another direction, although music was still a primary love.

Fast forward to mid 2016, where a move from the Byron Shire to Melbourne for work saw him become friends with Producer / DJ ‘Eeemus’ (Shane Johnston) who rekindled his enthusiasm for being behind the decks.

Learning to play again in the digital era, Matty honed his skills and started releasing his mixes before moving back to the Shire and playing the odd party, which then evolved into playing gigs with the Praxis Crew, gigs at Wandana Brewery and Trawlers, with Balcony Beats at The Middle Pub to follow.

A fresh beginning with a new name ‘Synchomystic’ and a new vision, sees Matty stepping out to share the joy of his passion, by elevating the vibration of those around him with the finest selection of ‘Tasty Beats and Melodic Treats’.

Introducing… CORQI 🎵

Corqi is the DJ moniker of Benjamin Noah Mccorquodale (Mullumbimby , Australia). He plays a quirky and ever evolving assemblage of house and techno. The pervasive theme is one of deep soul connection, it’s emotional and emits a deep feeling of love, Traversing Indigenous and cultural melodies right through to ascending, galactic flows his sets flirt with many genres and he curates specifically for the crowd and space where he performs.

Corqi has also birthed his own event along side Rahel. These heart centred and intentional dance parties are sell out underground events.

Introducing... AFRΩDITΣ 🎵

Just returning from her debut, catch this up-and-coming powerhouse (and dear friend!) making a return to The Lab next weekend!

There were Gods and Goddesses who gave love and beauty to the world, and then there was AFRΩDITΣ (Anne O’Hoy), the DJ of Love & Beautiful Vibes - and boy did she gift us with just that at Lab Leaked Beats back in March!

Born & cultured in Melbourne, with a heritage from the mystical lands of Greece & Egypt, Gold Coast based AFRΩDITΣ, celebrates eclectic sounds from across the globe of genres.

Having begun as a deep-trance state and ecstatic dance facilitator and DJ, she plays to the adventure, feeling, connection, fun, and bliss of being on a dance floor.

She steers a magical mystery caravan of fun, sexy, cheeky, and heart opening sounds, likened to a spontaneous night out, never knowing where it will take you… tech, melodic, bass, progressive, house, tribal, organic, worldly, dirty, funky, sassy… Heart-happy tunes that will journey into your memories and put a smile on your bass-face!

What an honour it is to have The Hoodlum Ballet girl-gang performing at The Lab THIS SATURDAY! This group of performance extraordinaires blew our mind when we first witnessed them at Initiation Festival performing to Christopher Brooks's set on main stage on New Years Eve. Introducing... CHRISTOPHER BROOKS 🎵

We are thrilled to have this legendary artist and down-right beautiful human back at The Lab (Murwillumbah) this weekend! Driven by his deep passion, is killin’ it within the industry with his original music signed to major Australian labels , , and Late Night Music!

Performing original live sets as well as DJ sets, Christopher’s sound bind the grounds of Deep Progressive House and Minimal Techno, always responding to the environment and moment.

Christopher co-curates the music bookings for , creating notorious festival line ups, along side B2B bud, .

Christopher tours up and down the east coast of Australia tearing through clubs and festivals with his distinctive dance floor sound, pleasing the ears and souls at Esoteric Festival, Elements Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Bohemian Beatfreaks, Love Camp, SASH, Sub Rosa, My Aeon, Breakfast Club, BushTechno, Revolver, Camp Paprika, Melt, Elsewhere Club and many other events/venues. He’s played support DJ slots for internationals, such as Robert Babicz, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Howells, Marc Marzenit, Max Cooper and Claude VonStroke, just to name a few... as well as top Australian artists such as, Doppel, ThankYou City, Jamie Stevens, Fabrication, Tom Baker, Unknown Concept, Biomass and many more.

Christopher’s interest and love of sound led him to a Bachelor of Music Technology degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where he developed advanced skills in sound engineering, sound design and music composition. In addition to producing, touring original live sets and DJing, Christopher also runs and operates Studio B, an audio specialist service for pre + post production, sound design, mixing and mastering for music, live sound, online advertisements and TV media.

2024 recap so far!

By now, it should be apparent that Lab Leaked Beats have branched out to two locations, M-Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah & Focal.House in Burleigh Heads. We are providing monthly events at both venues. The first Saturday of the month in Burleigh and the third Saturday of the month in Murwillumbah. We couldn't be happier with these venues as our home for hosting our events, and we couldn't be happier with the community that's attending and growing as we welcome everyone together. 🖤

Our events focus on quality electronic music, performances, art, lighting, stage design and superb drink menus at the bars. This beautiful combination of sound, arts and lifestyle is creating magic at each of our events and we are so happy about the energy we are creating with you all. ✨

Lab Leaked Beats would like to say, THANK YOU, to everyone who's supporting us, buying tickets and bringing amazing attitudes and vibes, you've all helped us to continue running these events and turn them into something really special. A true international performer, Filthy Philp has taken his electrifying sound to audiences around the world, leaving an indelible mark on various continents. Weekly, he graces the airwaves as the charismatic host of the “Filthy Philp Show” on Radio Metro in The Gold Coast, showcasing his passion for the genre.

Philp’s reputation is on the rise in Australia, underscored by his recent triumph in the Yourshot DJ competition’s wildcard category. Introducing... Si Clone & Gez

Supports for our Burleigh Heads | Breger & Aka Nina event this Saturday!

Si Clone, the intergalactic maestro of spicy sonic journeys, reigns supreme in the realm of techno. Based in Byron Bay since the turn of the millennium, Si Clone's infectious beats have traversed our underground universe and blows the minds of Australian dance floors. Si unleashes a fusion of otherworldly futuristic techno, acid, bass and dark disco that captivates and transforms listeners.
