Top tips from these two lovely couple "The amount of choice can be overwhelming! We only left ourselves 5 months to plan the wedding, so we had to be decisive. When I wasn't clear on which vendor to go with, I would make a list with costs and notes so it was easy to compare them all in one place. I also whittled down my options to say 5 or 6, then I had to choose from them. It stopped me from endlessly adding options and never actually choosing one.
At the end of the day, go with your gut on who and what feels right! "

What are you most looking forward to on the day? Ally couldn't wait to say 'I do' to the love of her life, especially after 10 years in the wedding industry watching others do the same. Lachy, on the other hand, was eagerly anticipating seeing Ally in her wedding dress for the first time in Boranup forest. Talk about the beginning! Just back from Japan, exploring Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Mt Fuji, Takayama, and Kanazawa—4 weeks of adventure! Ally and Lachy have dreams of heading back to explore more of the Southern and Northern parts of the island, with a bit of skiing next time too. And the proposal? "My family and myself had a weekend in Donnelly River Village to celebrate my 60th birthday . My 4 children and partners and 7 grandkids were there to celebrate this event.
I arranged with Victoria to have a family photo shoot on the Saturday afternoon and we had the best time with her. She put us all at ease and she took some amazing shots of my family in the beautiful natural setting of the bush . She made it fun and very relaxed and it shows on the photos. The photos she sent me are absolutely amazing and I will be forever thankful to her for capturing special moments and for being a part of my 60th birthday celebrations . Thankyou again Victoria"

Their proposal? It didn’t really happen! 🤣 On New Year’s at Windy Harbour, Cody casually mentioned buying a ring in Perth. At the jewelry shop, Cody pointed to Sonya's wedding finger, and when family spotted the ring, Cody confirmed they were engaged. Ten years later, Sonya got tired of waiting for a formal proposal and started planning the wedding herself!
Sometimes, you've just gotta make your own magic moments, mate!

A TALE OF FATE AND ADVENTURE
Carmen and Adam’s Wedding at Hayshed Hill was truly one-of-a-kind. It all began when they first crossed paths when Carmen, originally from the Netherlands, was 18 and visiting Australia. A few years later, they met again when Carmen was back on a working holiday visa, living on the same street as Adam. Their friendship grew quickly through beach trips, cinema outings, and endless conversations. That friendship turned into something more one night at Carnegies Bar when they shared their first kiss.

R & R got married in the Barossa Valley and sadly I was not their photographer!! Rhyan reached out to me as she was looking for someone who would create an album of their amazing wedding! She went for merlot nubuck leather with all the trimmings; a slipcase and personalised endsheets. This was actually a present to Robert on their first anniversary.

Janaya & Cam first met on Tinder in Sydney, had their first date by the water, and made long-distance love work until Cam moved to Perth. They got engaged at a stunning lookout in Yallingup in 2022. Their beautiful wedding was held at Old Broadwater Farm.
