Mel & Laurence opted to have no wedding party and instead just included their two daughters as their most important people in their lives. With Circa 1876 as the stunning backdrop of the evening, their guests enjoyed an excellent atmosphere together under the setting sun.

Dark Horse Vineyard proved the perfect setting for Abby & Zacc’s stunning day filled with so many moments of life and colour. From a stunning welcome bar to greet their guests with a champagne in hand before the ceremony, to a cocktail hour filled with all of the most delicious treats and a range of entertainment from the best to provide a pleasant atmosphere.
There was truly no shortage of good times and irresistible moments for the couple. From the start until the end of the night their day ran smooth and they enjoyed the many high notes of celebrating their wedding surrounded by their best friends and family.
We love Dark Horse weddings and cannot be more excited to be back at this stunning venue very very soon for a few more weddings this season! 🤍

The perfect coastal setting for Charlie & Charlotte’s backyard wedding celebration was hosted at Charlotte’s family home last Saturday at the scenic Blueys Beach. Their day was simply a breeze because of the way that they organised their day and how they rearranged all of the intricate elements in a way that favoured the comfort of their guests & themselves.
With a first look captured in the earlier parts of the day, Charlie & Charlie were able to relax with their friends and family and get the party started early on in the day as they enjoyed some tunes and drinks before their ceremony started. A quick walk downstairs meant they could enter their ultimate garden party under a tree where all of their guests were treated to a pleasantly warm winter afternoon in the sunshine!
With the ceremony ending before 2:30, their guests were then free to enjoy the endless amounts of delicious canapés by while kept the dance floor packed out from start to finish while their guests enjoyed every minute of the excellent weather.
The pair even got to enjoy some moments together down on the beach for one of our favourite portrait sessions of recent weeks as their vibrant love story was captured across our lenses. We loved the energy and authenticity that this pair brought to their wedding day and we cannot wait to share more from this incredible first wedding back in the current wedding season!

A day that still goes down as one of the biggest and best parties we’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing with Kahlee & Jordan’s local celebration in Merewether, NSW. With all of the best local spots handpicked throughout the course of the day, we were able to capture a gorgeous mixture of urban and natural landscapes surrounding their perfectly planned day.
At every turn we were met with a gorgeous range of pinks and purples with Kahlee’s stunning floral selection executed perfectly by as well as springtime jacarandas in full bloom. The moments of laughter and high energy accented by the beautiful details of this day certianly left its mark on us as one of our absolute favourites of 2023. 🤍

For Melissa & Laurence the idea of a relaxed wedding with their family of 4 in an elegant setting was the perfect way to celebrate their wedding day. We love capturing Circa 1876 weddings as the venue has a unique layout that allows for an stress-free and seamless day for all of your guests. The friendly staff and stunning location are what make the location among some of our favourites in the Hunter.
A pleasantly warm winter afternoon meant that we had the time to soak up the remaining autumn colours on the property in the sunshine before a warm night by the fire where many stories and bottles of wine were shared amongst their guests.
There’s something about a winter garden ceremony followed by a garden party that is just unbeatable no matter the season, and June was no exception for the pair. The perfect location & setting for the celebration of a lifetime for Melissa & Laurence!

Her bride tribe in their buttery yellow dresses brought a radiant energy that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of their stunning autumn wedding in the Hunter Valley. After a ceremony in the vines Veronica & Dean celebrated with their guests at the stunning Twine restaurant in the perfect garden cocktail hour.

The first day of winter was incredible, regardless of the rain that joined us for Ashley & Aaron’s June celebration. We got to spend the afternoon at the stunning for their elegant function and were delighted to spend the day with a couple who didn’t let a bit of bad weather ruin the smile on their faces. Every minute of their day was enjoyed by all who attended.
After deciding to stick with the original plan and embrace the rain, Ash & Aaron said their vows under an umbrella in the rainy countryside. With the rest of the afternoon tucked under the shelter of the marquee their guests enjoyed a string quartet for entertainment as drinks were served and canapés were happily devoured.
Wallalong House offering stunning hallways and large rooms with stunning high-ceilings to photograph the pair for their afternoon portraits, before we found a short break in the rain to capture some final moments before their candlelit dinner with all of their nearest and dearest. A Sunday afternoon in May spent with Bek & Corey was the perfect end to our Autumn 2024 season. We enjoyed yet another afternoon avoiding the rain in style as the pair partied into an evening filled with sweet delights after their short & sweet ceremony on the croquet lawn.
Bek & Corey decided that they wanted to share their vows in private as well as see each other before their ceremony, so we arranged a first look prior to ensure that they could ease into the afternoon and enjoy more time together. We’re forever grateful that couples are entrusting us while they share their private vows on their wedding day. It’s such a privilege to get to witness such raw and precious moments.
With all of the heartfelt moments throughout Bek & Corey’s day, they still managed to throw one incredible party that night. With the music turned up loud and all of their nearest and dearest celebrating with them on the dancefloor, this day was a very special one to end our season with.

When you bring together an incredible team of hardworking vendors to create art like this it’s hard not to be amazed with the end result. We could not be more excited to present to you the first part of what a surreal day yesterday was!
Months of planning this incredible day turned out absolutely perfectly, despite a few showers and last minute changes of plan, we pulled of what is our favourite styled shoot to date, we planned the entire shoot alongside all of our vendor friends.

We do love the opportunity to capture a beautiful, destination wedding and Amy & Logan’s coastal, Crescent Head wedding proves exactly why! Every element of the day was curated to perfection for Amy & Logan. With cocktails on hand all afternoon from the Kombi Keg crew and the most beautifully coloured blooms we’ve ever seen courtesy of Wild Meraki Flora. We celebrated on a warm Wednesday afternoon in the middle of November. The perfect, midweek festivity for an even more incredible couple! With all of the beautiful details on show for the day, we joyfully got to capture this day both digitally and in Super 8. When it comes to deciding on the layout of your wedding day, we’d highly recommend considering opting for a less traditional layout. We love the idea that a couple doesn’t have to be restricted to a bridal table at their reception. While we aren’t opposed to the classic seating method, we believe that it’s a nice touch to be able to be seated alongside all of your guests across a couple of long tables. This means that people within the bridal party can be seated with their partners, which works out perfectly as you’re already spending the majority of your day with them regardless. It also means that you can surround yourself with your immediate family or other loved ones. This is a nice touch to be able to have dinner across from your loved ones. If you’re planning your reception seating plan, we definitely would recommend not overlooking the breaking of wedding traditions!

A fine art album is the perfect personal touch to your day, and they are by far our favourite way to relive all of the best memories of your wedding!

First looks are one of the less traditional inclusions in a wedding day, and we’re all for them! You may not realise it, but the addition of a first look with your partner has SO MANY pros on your wedding day and we’re here to list them off start to finish! Firstly, it opens up your day for so much more time together and more time together is perfect on your wedding day!! You can also capture most of your wedding party photos before the ceremony, this is a massive win as it means you’ll have a lot more time during your cocktail hour to mingle with guests, plus it takes the stress off your wedding party for later on in the day! And finally one of our favourite parts of doing a first look is the fact that it takes so much stress out of your day and helps all the nerves go away! When you plan a first look with your partner you get to skip those pre ceremony jitters and jump straight into the good times! Introducing for the very first time - Sera Luna Co! It’s been a long but exciting few weeks; wedding season has been in full swing, we’ve moved into a new office space in Newcastle and we’re finally launching our total rebrand today! The countless late nights and longer hours have been worth it. We wanted to make sure that the brand was super polished and ready to show everyone for tonight!
