That’s a wrap for Sera Luna for weddings & shoots in 2024, what a monumental year it has been!! Time has flown fast and we cannot believe it is December already!

2024 has been an absolutely incredible year with so many high points. We’ve moved & renovated a new much larger studio, booked out our first European season and captured so many incredible memories along the way.

We have two more weddings to capture in 2024 before we get to enjoy some time off over summer and we couldn’t be more excited to take some time off to enjoy some time in the sunshine! Bring in 2025, we’ve got so much planned and cannot wait to bring you along for the ride! 🌞

While Charlotte & Braydan experienced a wetter than usual last day of spring, the vibes of their day were still high throughout the entire day. Every element of their day was personally handpicked by Charlotte, meaning that each touch of their day fitted them perfectly. Here we are excited to share some effortlessly elegant frames from their timeless event!

Throughout the afternoon, we found some brief gaps in the rain to ensure that Charlotte & Braydan had some portraits to remember each and every moment of their momentous day.

This wedding was a very special way to end out the busy month of spring. Throughout December we officially have 4 more weddings to go until we see the end of 2024. What a year it’s been!!

Reminiscing on some of our favourite cocktail hour moments with Rebekah & Corey from earlier this year before the first day of summer on December!

This week is our final busy week before Christmas, with 3 weddings across Saturday, Wednesday & Thursday. We cannot wait to capture all of these incredible events including one event back at the amazing
mid next week.

The authenticity of 35mm film never ceases to amaze us. Every single time it’s film delivery day the excitement feels electric & our eyes are glued to these moments on our screen!

Throughout this time of year, we have been on a constant circuit of sending rolls & receiving 35mm film scans. Every few days, we’ve been receiving back new galleries and it soon feels like we are back at the post office within no time at all sending out another order. SO exciting! We love it and are so excited for all of our couples who added this beautiful add-on to their day.

As the days pass faster than ever and what has felt like a never ending spring slowly comes to a close, we’ll grace your screen with a selection from Tammy & Brendan’s recent film delivery which landed in our inbox earlier this afternoon 🤍

Brydie & Tristan are on our screen early this week as we finalise their full wedding gallery. As wedding season powers on full steam ahead, we have another 7 beautiful weddings to capture between now and Christmas before 2024 (our favourite year yet) comes to a close.

A little update for couples who are hoping to book us for 2025. We are taking on 7 more bookings across the year including 1 more European booking during our Euro summer period! With most popular dates already snapped up, we cannot wait to chat with you about your wedding plans!!

We are officially at the height & halfway point of wedding season!

The past few weeks it’s been tricky to keep you updated on what we’ve been up to with so many weddings happening. (Are any of our other vendor friends feeling it?) So we wanted to take the change to update you here with all that’s happening across the coming weeks!

Across the next 3 weeks we have 12 different shoots ranging from; weddings, elopements, styled shoots & engagements to cover on a mixture of film photography & digital photography. We’re also celebrating a very special milestone on Friday which we cannot wait to tell you some more about then.

There is so much going on at Sera Luna Studio and we cannot wait to share more!!

We appreciate everyone’s patience including new enquiries as response times have been a touch slower over the past few weeks while we capture loads of weddings & navigate editing all the beautiful galleries & films and having them delivered to everyone as soon as possible!

Across the past few months we have booked in our first round of Europe weddings, elopements & photoshoots and we could not be more excited for 2025. It’s going to be a big year with so many incredible Australian and overseas weddings already locked in!

We have left some gaps in the calendar for relaxing and soaking up the most of the summer sun inbetween our current bookings. We have space in our travel plans for 2 more couples who want to celebrate their wedding day with us as well as a few slots for smaller photoshoots while travelling abroad.

Spring afternoons at the always stunning 🤍🖤

Some short & sweet snippets from a very special afternoon in the warm October sun with Eliza & Tyler. On Saturday night the music was loud and the vibes were high for this pair and we couldn’t be more obsessed with all of the little moments from throughout their spectacle of a day.

They included so many eye-catching moments across their wedding day which held the attention of all of their closest friends and family such as the inclusion of a champagne tower pour directly after their walk back down the aisle as a married couple. If you ask us our opinion on champagne towers on a warm springtime afternoon, it’s always an absolute and complete utter YES from us!!

Saturday afternoons during this time of year are always among our favourites; with delectable food on a constant circuit, ice-cold drinks being handed over the bar and the perfect temperature for comfortable afternoon portraits before the heat of summer returns, you literally cannot go wrong with planning your day during this time of year!

Some of our favourite snapshots from the momentous day that was India & Josh. A beautiful afternoon with a few light showers wasn’t enough to shake the vibe of the raving dance-floor that was to come later in the night.

We enjoyed watching India & Josh take in all of the moments together. There was so much energy and so much love between them and all of their special guests that they had included in their day.

Golden hour in our brand new studio 🌞

We couldn’t be more grateful to work in a beautiful space with talented creatives and even closer friends.

The past few weeks have been filled with moments of frantic renovations in between plenty of incredible springtime weddings. There have been so many late nights of hard work while balancing editing galleries, chatting to new clients and running other businesses. While our schedule has been jam-packed, we couldn’t be more ecstatic to share with you for the very first time, the brand new home of Sera Luna Co!

If you’ve visited the new studio across the past month for a couple meeting or watched the progress on our Instagram stories, you would’ve seen the hard work and slow transformation into the space that you see today.

Over the coming weeks you’ll find us slowly settling into our new space, alongside shooting one of our busiest wedding seasons to date. We cannot wait to share all of the action with you throughout the coming weeks!
