To all my wonderful customers,

Just a quick message regarding Sugar and Thyme over the next few months.

After an appointment today I am booked in to have surgery on my ankle after a few years of pain becoming increasingly worse. It’s gotten to the point where it is affecting my everyday life, unable to enjoy simple things like going for a walk with my family or playing backyard soccer with my boys.

As I run this business mostly as a one woman show this means we are unable to take on any new bookings for the remainder of this year and early next year. To say I am devastated is an understatement. I put my heart and soul into everything I do and to have to take a break during one of our busiest times of the year brings tears to my eyes.

Everyone who already has set ups and/or boxes booked in we are still able to accommodate your booking. I’m very lucky to have such a large family support network who are able to help out while I recover.

I want to thank each and every one of you for constant support, you have no idea how much it means. We have some exciting things planned for 2022 and cannot wait to share them with you next year.

We would love to say a huge THANK YOU to all our amazing customers. Your support over the last few weeks has been incredible.

We started our little business about 18 months ago when I was made redundant from my job of 15 years in the travel industry. I always dreamed of starting a little business which incorporated my love and passion for food and cooking and that’s how Sugar and Thyme was born.

Before starting this business it took weeks/months of researching all the ins and outs of operating a food business and gaining all the necessary permits, certificates, insurances, food safe packaging etc required to start up such a business.

Lately we have noticed a HUGE increase in people advertising grazing boxes on marketplace and other community pages during lockdown. We understand times are tough for some people and are trying to make ends meet.

We just wanted to let all our wonderful customers know that when you buy from us you can be assured that we are 100% registered and insured and follow all government regulations required to operate a food business from food storage, to preparation, to transport.

Our menus and pictures are guides as we strive to provide a bespoke grazing experience for our customers. If you have any special requests for a box please let us know as we would love to help you create the perfect treat for your loved one.

Introducing our Father’s Day boxes for 2021!!!!
Who knows what restrictions will look like for Father’s Day this year. Let us take care of the gifts for the special men in your life.

To show our support to small local business during these difficult times, this year we have carefully hand picked products which will be showcased in our Father’s Day boxes.

In keeping with tradition, we have named the boxes after some incredible Father’s we know and admire.

The Matthew- Named after my brother in law and first time father just 5 months ago to my adorable little nephew. Matt is the most amazing hands on father I’ve ever seen!!! My sister barely gets a look in when he’s around. This one is for all the beer lovers out there.

The Tony- Named after my beautiful cousins husband. Tony is the father of 2 incredible young ladies and one of the hardest working men I know. He lives for his girls and I consider him an amazing role model for my boys. He’s a real “cool” dad who loves a drop of red and a cheese platter on a Saturday night.

The Scott- Named after my amazing cousin. This man has the patience of a saint as the father of 3 beautiful young girls. He’s a cheer dad and spends his spare time supporting his girls while they follow their dreams, even doing their make-up for comps. Seriously so lucky to have him in my life. Scott loves a good Jim Beam and coke but does not enjoy the hangover the next day.

A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of catering for a beautiful baby high tea for the amazing Carly and Tresne - The Happiness Mission. What an honour it was to be asked to do this for such a special time in their lives.
