ELIZA & BEN 🤍 Married in the cutest spot, right on the lake, on the windiest day of the year(don’t fact check me on that). Wind during the ceremony is the pits, but I have some tricks to make it work. At this point I’m buying shares in because their double sided tape is the bomb! Vows, legals and certificates are secure in my ceremonies!

Micro Weddings ✨ Last month I got to marry my beautiful friends. Their closest family members joined us for a Short & Sweet ceremony down by the lake. Then, they all headed out to a fancy celebratory lunch. Such a beautiful moment to be a part of, made even more special by their precious little boy being there with us. I am so grateful to be a part of these big moments 🤍 PS how clever is Ben, he made this arbour and his Mum for doing the stunning flowers!

Sam & Joel 🤍 It absolutely poured down all morning for these guys. The team were watching the BOM like hawks and just as they anticipated, the rain held off for 20 minutes for the ceremony!

UNDERCOVER CEREMONY OPTIONS 🤍
The thought of an outdoor ceremony amongst the trees, on the sand or on the lawn is always a pretty option. Unfortunately the weather does not care about pretty options so it is always smart to have a plan B. Peta and Lachlan had this stunning marquee from .event.hire planned for their reception space. They were very flexible about their ceremony location, so when the rain didn’t look like it was going to hold out for us, we made a last minute decision to relocate under the marquee. 10 minutes later, a few helping hands, some furniture relocation and repositioning and we were all set for a sheltered ceremony that looked beautifully cosy. The arbour decor was set up exactly as planned, just in a new location. The rain held out for a few minutes while Peta and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle and then weather was a non-issue for the remainder of the ceremony.

Looking back on Peta and Lachlans wedding photos today as I plan to head back up to Moonan Flat to wed Isabella and Joe this weekend!

OBSESSED 🖤 Every time I look through our wedding photos I find a new detail that I am utterly obsessed with. absolutely nailed my hair. We eloped, so Tay didn’t even know I was getting married that day, but still did the most perfect style! She is a hair magician.

PSA 🚨 Choosing a photographer, whose work you LOVE should always be a top priority. So grateful for capturing our intimate day so perfectly.

I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Mel & Brendon at Greystone Estate last month. Their ceremony was classy and emotional, it was personal and we all had a few laughs. They made a conscious effort to include lots of their loved ones in their ceremony, without it extending the length of time they were standing in front of their guests. I truly loved working with them, coming up with some unique ideas and kicking their day off with a fab ceremony!

Fun fact: I don’t often cry during a ceremony but I shed a few tears when Mel walked down the aisle. The whole vibe was just absolute perfection. So incredibly beautiful, I’ll never forget it.

I LOVE WEDDINGS 🤍 but I am also a huge advocate for being married in the most genuine and personal way. Whatever suits you and your partner. We aren’t here for anyone else.

This was my wedding in 2016. We eloped under the Sydney Harbour Bridge with my old friend as our celebrant, caught the ferry across to Luna Park and had a play on the rides. The legend followed us everywhere and snapped every moment and our favourite memories. Zero regrets, just love.

Mr & Mrs Hancock 🩷 Dillon and Jaidyn planned a huge surprise for their friends and family on Friday. We all attended their engagement party, where we learnt that they were secretly married earlier that day by yours truly ✨ SO lucky to be a part of these beautiful surprises and exciting moments. I say it regularly but it is never lost on me how honoured I am to be trusted with your wedding ceremony.

A little rain couldn’t stop this incredibly fun day! Look how stunning they are 🤍 pinch meevent.hire nailed the teepee tent vibes and provided a perfect spot for both the ceremony and the reception.
We danced the night away to and I don’t think the dance floor was empty once throughout the whole night!
I got to do my first wedding alongside my best friend making the bridal party look gorgeous
captured the special moments perfectly and were down to earth legends
And I got to enjoy the entire day with my closest friends, I’ll remember this forever Peti & Lacho 🫶🏼

C O N F E T T I 🤍
YES, your guests need to be told how and when to throw their handful of pretty goodness. When it comes to confetti, we trust no one. I will always include a sentence or two about exactly how to throw the confetti and when to throw it. This is different in every ceremony, depending on when the couple would like it to be airborne. Hopefully this small gesture on my part, avoids anyone copping a handful of confetti to the face.

Lainie and Dylan had confetti cannons shot from the back of the aisle toward them. So effective and lots of fun!!

Jokes aside, I actually really LOVE an outdoor ceremony. If only we could control the weather 😅

Last weekends ceremony was held at and they have the most stunning little barn. Kate, the beautiful manager, tells me it was originally built in 1813! Incredible, so special.
