"Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture. The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.
But no. Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed. Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die. You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food. You are meat for prowling beasts. No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal.

A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery. Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts, Mead said."

Huge apologies...but ima doin something I'm really not use to...yep...I'm working ffs...strange concept for a handsome young man that still lives at home with his yia yia ....and know what....they've had me working bloody nights for months...how the heck can I cop a feel...anyways hope y'all doin good...I bloody miss the fabulous Lass O Gowrie hotel like you wouldn't believe ...

Kosta's feeling somewhat ... melancholy....
Why?..
Cos, he's workin' the niteshift, and will be for quite a while longer...apart from having to actually work, Kosta really misses hangin' out with his mates...drinkin' VB, friendly banter, shootin' pool, and not having to be asleep early..hence, the long face and the melancholy vibe...

....hello y'all....Kosta hasn't even had time to Koppafeel the last couple months....been smashin' out things that I've had to do ..
Jus wanna apologise for being a no-show last couple weeks ...the lass Wednesday nite pool comp....also huge thank you to me mates Dunny and Mckenzie..for holding the fort....all going well Kosta will be back on deck ..not dick ..lol lol 🤣😆 in couple weeks...miss y'all ...miss the laughs n the banter....oh n the bloody good tap beer...hic hic

Picture this....Ive not long left the lass...pool comp nite....get to Tighes Hill bridge, n there's about 8 police etc doin alcohol n random drug tests...of course I'm pulled in ...officer looks quizically at me....n I go ..I'm in drag as Ive jus left venue I host pool comp at....
" Do you have your licence".
"Yes I do"....and I'm trying to find it in my console but tis so hard as I'm strapped tightly n can hardly manoeuvre to get licence....I actually tell him this after he asks ..." You do have a licence"...
So I'm asked to move into testing site to locate licence...which of course I do...
Then....alcohol n drug test....all good ..no dramas...
Police only doin their job....I do understand ...
,....actually got a laugh outta the officer...we both cracked up...nitey nite
