Heather and Yvette let love win and were married in a private ceremony in a pretty bushland setting last July. Then last month, family and friends gathered at Pokolbin and celebrated with high tea and champagne as these gorgeous ladies renewed their very special vows. Another celebration will be held in Queensland for interstate relatives later this year. My gorgeous granddaughter / roadie helped the girls with their setting up. Thank you Heather and Yvette for asking me to be your celebrant. It has been a pleasure getting to know you. Best wishes and happiness always.

Kristie and Lee tied the knot with a Celtic handfasting at the beautiful avenue of trees at Valhalla Restaurant Bar in April. Their children all looking smart, joined in a sand ceremony and celebrated with family and friends. Thanks Kristie and Lee for asking me to be your celebrant.

Thanks Ashley and Josh for asking me to do yet another naming celebration for Emerson and Tyrone. Over the years I have done namings for their other two boys - Loghan and Aiden so it was a privilege to complete the circle. Godparents were appointed and sand blendings symbolised the forever connection between the boys and their Godparents. A picnic with a celebration cake for family and friends created a great memory.

Guests of Tegan and Ross were invited to celebrate their marriage recently. However what didn’t know was that they were there to witness the actual marriage ceremony. We dodged the storms and golfers for a perfect surprise. Their children joined us to sign a special family celebration certificate. Thanks guys for asking me to be part of your wonderful day.

Loads of laughter at the surprise wedding for Shaun and Jayde Benge at Norah Head in February. Whilst they surprised their guests to witness their marriage ceremony, Jayde also had her own surprise when her brother walked down the aisle in his beautiful black wedding dress, veil and of course his best thongs. After a roar of laughter, pretty Jayde walked down the aisle to say I do and start this new adventure with Shaun. Peyton received a beautiful gift from Shaun to remember their special day as well as signing a special celebration certificate. Congratulations to this loving family. I wish you so much happiness. A little over 4 years since I had the pleasure of being the celebrant for Renee and Shane. An honour to be asked to be with their family again on Saturday to lead a naming ceremony for young Ronnie and Polly. Their Godparents were appointed and sealed their commitment with a sand ceremony and read loving dedications to each child. Magical adventures ahead for both Polly and Ronnie.

My last wedding ceremony for 2022 was another love and legals for R and L on 23rd December. Kau Ma park was chosen with extensive views over the wetlands. After several delays and a long wait, their wedding finally went ahead with smiles and tears of joy. I wish the couple much happiness.

They do, they did, they eloped!!! Al and James surprised their family and chose my little love and legals ceremony with the beautiful ritual of handfasting for their marriage last week at Jesmond Park. My beautiful granddaughter- Maddi- once again did a great job as my roadie at Peterson Champagne House for Anita and Andrew’s wedding. Maddi stepped up and assisted the wedding co-ordinators, filling the confetti cones with pink blush light fluffy confetti . The confetti toss was magnificent - the best I have ever seen. Maddi had a great view of the toss and her wonderful work, watching from the gallery. 2 more weddings this year where I hope Maddi can assist again.Maddie Keenanobrien

These fantastic photos taken by the very talented Krystal McKinley from Life Chapters Photography show the love and happiness of Kyle and Boorer. Somehow after a shaky start to the day with a trip to hospital in an ambulance for one of their little children, then the vendors supplying the wedding ceremony furniture being a no show, they still managed to have their special day and and love won. Willow’s first birthday became a super celebration with her Godparents being appointed at her naming ceremony. What better way to keep the celebrations going with her parents - Belinda and Steve - saying ‘I do’ and sealing their love in marriage. Love being involved in surprises and such happy days. It was all about love love love for Rachael and Christopher when they shared beautiful vows at H Boutique Hotel, Hunter Valley. The happy bride and groom gave their children keepsake neck chains. A naming ceremony was planned for baby Tori on her first birthday. However covid restrictions prevented celebrating on her first birthday and again on her second birthday. Finally family and friends gathered to witness her naming ceremony and the appointment of her Godparents on her third birthday. Everyone participated in a sand ceremony and big brother Lennox, read his personal promises to his little sister. Thanks to my roadie - Maddi- for taking the photos.

A very Celtic ceremony and reception for Bri and Alex recently at Riverwood Downs. A candle was lit to remember Bri's dad and the family were all involved in a handfasting. The literally 'tied' the knot using ties. A moment of shock turned into loads of laughter when it was discovered the cords had been left behind. Within seconds, the gentlemen jumped up and offered their own ties, including a clan tartan tie. The bride and groom looked stunning and both the ceremony and reception were full of romance. I have loved being involved with this epic ceremony and thank both Alex and Bri for asking me to be their celebrant. These fantastic photos are by Bryce Noone Photography.

Music, dancing, love, laughter and partying for Gilda and Peter at their recent wedding in Metford. Family and friends joined in a big cheers at the end of the ceremony with bubbly for everyone and dancing. The groom even swept me up for a dance as I was leaving - that’s a first!! Love a surprise!! Guests were invited to celebrate Kylie's 40th birthday. Sitting in front of Shrek at the theme park, Sean decided it was the right time to propose and she said YES! Engagement celebrations were then added to the 40th party. To everyone's delight, they were greeted with "welcome to our wedding' upon arrival. Loads of family, friends, food, fun, laughter and most of all LOVE surrounded Kylie and Sean at their home in June as they made their special promises to each other. INDY'S NAMING DAY - So touched to be asked back to the same family again and again and yet again! 12 years ago I did the naming ceremony for Rory - now in high school!!! Then 3 years ago young Isaac who is now racing around. Baby Indy now completes the family and we celebrated her life and welcomed her into the family circle at another beautiful naming day. The family tied their ribbons through a love heart as a symbol of being together forever. Thanks Michelle and Peter for asking me once again to join your family. The children are a credit to you.

Loukayla-Iris and Lilliana-Rose were all rugged up when family and friends came to welcome them into their community. We appointed their Godparents and Godsister before a celebration lunch. A love blessing with a rose petal shower from the God sister and a candle lighting by the parents marked the moment. The pouring rain just made the lake more stunning. Welcome little babies - I wish you both so much happiness in this thing called life.

Riverwood Downs Weddings plan B undercover was just as beautiful as any of their other ceremony areas for Kylie and David on 21st May. Laughter and smiles from everyone. Christie Lamb entertained us with great music - then the magic happened when Kylie walked down the aisle, some tears of absolute joy from the groom - always the best moment of the ceremony for me. My love and legals ceremonies have been popular. R and R were finally married after a long wait due to travel bans. We all had tears of happiness during this ceremony. Just a little bit quirky and with loads of love filling the room, Romany McGuffog and Michael Luc were married on Saturday with their beautiful fur baby, Charlotte as their ring bearer. Charlotte was dressed in her tux and red bowtie to match the bride's embroidered dress and the groom's cufflinks and tie. The Wedding Designer styled the exercise yard at The Lock-Up and created a gorgeous atmosphere with lights and candles. We were wet underfoot but that did not stop everyone feeling loads of love for Belinda and Adam on 2nd April when they married at Jesmond Park. Belinda's dad and son proudly walked her down the aisle before they exchanged loving vows and exchanged wedding rings. Wedding number 2 on 26th March took me to The Anchorage at Hawks Nest - such a peaceful area with the river on one side and the ocean on the other. Love this place as did our bride and groom - Dean and Meg Delaney. Proud Dad walked Meg down the aisle and little Jasper, carefully carried the wedding rings to hand to his mum and dad.
