We are beyond proud of our very own Emma Walsh who was awarded Lake Mac Young Citizen of the Year for 2025 last night. 🏆
She was nominated along with other young people in our community doing great things. Congrats to all nominees and Lake Mac winners.
Thank you Lake Macquarie City Council for recognising Emma and the beautiful people in our community.
Emma was inspired to create Emma’s Warriors from her own experiences and the drive to help others. She proudly shares this award with all in our Tribe that have brought this idea to reality.
Together we can achieve anything.

Our purpose at Emmas Warriors is to support children and their families during long hospital stays, so what better way to do this than working with the amazing Sleapy’s Foundation to help bring the PICU Courtyard project to life.

This courtyard will provide families with a space to be together in a safe and nurtured way. It is a huge project and we are honoured that our Tribe is able to contribute towards making it happen.
Our community is phenomenal and when two local charities come together like this, it shows what we are capable of achieving. 🩷
