Lake Macquarie City Council a Fabulous Family Night Out at Speers Point Carols last Sunday

Lake Macquarie City Council presents Lake Mac Carols 🎅🎶
Sunday 1st December
From 3pm
Speers Point Park

We're proud to present a spectacular evening of entertainment at the Lake Mac Carols event at Speers Point Park.
Carols, Cheers and Community Fun! 🎄

The festivities start from 3pm at the Domaine Homes Kids Corner with arts and craft activities, Newcastle Jets activation and the Cameron Park Rural Fire Service fire truck onsite to climb aboard, while the kids disco with Ruby the Clown's Entertainment will commence at 5pm 🤡

From 6pm the main stage program will kick off with a performance by the Aboriginal Dance Group from St Paul's Catholic College, Booragul, followed by an exciting range of traditional and modern carols to sing along too! 🎶

There will be an Auslan Interpreter on stage for the main Carols program between 6pm – 9pm, Provided by Sweeney Interpreting. 🧏

Local band Vanguard Players will entertain with local feature singers including Bree Young, Thomas James, Steph Russell, Komiti Levai and Pacific Harmony Choir members. 🎸

At 7pm Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves will make a special appearance. 🎅🤶

Hungry? Visit one of the many food stalls offering a range of savoury and sweet food options as well as hot and cold beverages. 🍔

Pre-paid parking will be available to book prior to the event, via website. 🚗

Lake Macquarie City Council is working towards reducing waste at events. We encourage recycling where possible, keeping the park clean and minimising the use of single-use items. ♻️

Were you at Oakvale Wildlife Park last weekend for their 45th Birthday celebration? Wasn’t it a great day!
I played my new game “Pick The Poo” where I draw a poo and you guess what animal it came out of. Many didn’t know about square wombat poo so not only was the game fun but educational too!!
