Oh this one's a special one ✨ Imagine this; You're Wed by the riverside alongside your nearest and dearest at your family's farm. 3000 blooms hand planted one by one lining the river bank blooming just for you on your wedding day. This was Maddie and Lachy's day of love. A day I got to witness firsthand as I stood beside them as they declared their love. I can't express just how beautiful this setting was, not to mention the sentimentality. We chose spring garden blooms to carry the theme and injected colour through florals and styling to reflect the joy and vibrancy both Maddie and Lachy exude. 

A day I won't be forgetting any time soon.

"I envisage floral design transitioning into a craft influenced by sculptural art. Embracing the use of non traditional items intertwined amongst florals to challenge traditionality with a focus on intentional designing over flowers for the sake of flowers. Think micro bouquets, sculptural forms and highlighting of unique flower types."

For memorable floral displays we always suggest to prioritise larger floral designs over spreading your budget across every area. This ensures that the flowers are really seen as opposed to simply becoming "part of the furniture". When choosing your areas to focus on you need to consider how people will view this area and if it will be a high traffic area or strong focal point. 

Our top locations for impact moments:

Let's chat ceremony floral designs. As a foam free florist, with a little trust and imagination the options really are endless. But firstly, what is "foam free" and do foam free designs give us more freedom to create? 

Foam free means to create without the use of floral foam. Floral foam is that spongy green product that is often used to hold flowers in place. Through never ending research and technique trailing we have worked out many ways to create without the product. 

Why is this a good thing? Florist foam is actually a single use + toxic product. By avoiding its use we are looking after both ours and your health and the health of the environment too!

In exchange for this product we often use mesh which we can bend into any form we like or we use pre-made structures or stacked vessels to create our designs. Not only do designs made in this way enhance our ability to create unique and sculptural forms, we are able to create designs that are great to be used in multiple applications and locations throughout your day.

Whilst the wedding was cocktail style, though careful consideration of what "moments" to create we were able to still ensure an elevated experience without the formalities.
