Blanket Fort are creative party architects who have been making Newcastle sleepover parties easy and gorgeous since 2017. Indoor glamping for kids and teens (and sometimes the Mums!). Picnics, party theming, backdrops, balloon garlands and our signature ‘Blanket Flicks’ outdoor lawn cinema are also available. We create awesome, modern and stylish pop-up party spaces that land in your home for ‘one

-night-only’ occasions… and then pack it all away for you the next day. We are a registered, insured, full-time, tax-paying small business (no Facebook marketplace for us!). Proudly owned by Newcastle locals and creative creatures Rebecca and Michael Edwards - we look forward to bringing some magic to your next event.

Fally was just the coolest; a little whimsical fairy with big personality…. gushing over the pink velvet whilst rockin’ a Nirvana shirt/telling me how much she loves grunge, and was counting down to opening the Pringles. 9 year old spirit is the best!!!

It's the spookiest fortnight of the year, as we countdown to kids consuming wayyyy too much sugar on a school night, and there are spiders, things with red flashing eyes, and bats everywhere.
In the 90s, I lived vicariously through OTT video clips and Halloween eps of ie. Sabrina, 3rd Rock and Home Improvement (give me all the 30 min canned laughed comedies), envious of the decos, costumes, 'candy' and good times! Then proceeded to attempt trick or treating on the 31st of Oct with most people looking confused and offering me a packet of lunchbox chips and a little Milky Way, or ignoring the door (me and my overly ambitious empty pillowcase).
Now... surprise, surprise, we 💜 pulling out the Halloween boxes, putting skeletons in ridiculous scenarios on the lawn, and meeting and chatting with our neighbours on the driveway, as they trek up the street looking for houses with decos to knock at with their pumpkin buckets complete with handles (how sensible... it was much harder to find the chocolate in '97!)

Moana’s 9th bday party… her friends came over for the day for dancing down the ‘Runway’ to Taylor Swift, and watching the Eras movie from colourful forts in between sessions of swimming and bracelet beading.

Here’s 4 things we know... (1) childhood should be simply amazing; (2) hosting sleepover parties CAN be a stress-free process; (3) life, love, family & friends are worthy of celebration and (4) there’s no such thing as ‘making a fuss’ when it comes to celebrating & creating memories with the ones we love! We build & design joyful & memorable parties for the young & young at heart. We are a wife & hubs team from Newcastle who build, sew, graphic design, organise and create (and laugh a lot along the way)

SLEEPOVER PARTIES

Our ‘blanket fort’ is an awesome, modern and cosy pop-up party space where every child has their own gorgeous tent and bed to sleep in. It lands in your home for the ultimate one-night-only indoor glamping experience.

Let us do the fussing and crafting, checking it fits, building, decorating, packing down and even vacuuming for you. Fully insured and professionally laundered too - ensuring peace of mind for your event.

We love the opportunity for face-to-face bonding that sleepover parties create for kids, the childhood memories made at our events, and the relief on our clients faces when we finish packing down and they see a clean empty room ready-to-go (no Sunday afternoon laundry here!)

The Party Architects from Blanket Fort are great people to talk to about assisting with your other special events – whether they be BIG birthdays ending in ‘0’, pre-wedding do’s, gender reveals, baby showers, weddings or backyard soirees.

Our little touches... from making a divine welcome sign to display as guests arrive, to brainstorming brilliant creative ideas with you over a coffee, to handwriting name tags or ‘table talker’ facts about the guest of honour, hiring out our stunner of a plywood bar, to being a very helpful hand on the day…We infuse our events with detail, texture, talking points and clever personalised touches to make your guests smile.
