Hi i'm Nick, principal photographer and owner of Alpha Imagery. I've been pursuing photography over the past 7 years and love both the personal and creative nature of photographing people and events. As the years go on, i'm so grateful for my own wedding photos as they provide such a vivid reminder of the day I committed my life to my beautiful wife, so I know how important it is for a photograph

er to capture both the uniqueness and specialness of a couple's special day. I love getting journey with couples through their wedding day, helping them at times stop and focus on the significance of the occasion, and at other times relax and have fun with friends and family

As a father of three i'm also acutely aware of the fleeting specialness of parenthood and love getting to help famlies relax and experience each other in the moment, instead of awkwardly posing in front of the camera. If you're interested in a session, please send me a message!

Very much enjoyed the stroll around the with the beautiful Heywan Dan Handsome San on their special day. Would recommend!

Luckily the limo drove as TWO bottles of champers ready to go - Jono was more than happy to do the honours!

This was my first Macedonian flavoured wedding. Such a vibe 🎷!! Some very cute little people involved too… loved getting celebrate with you and all your family Jono and Victoria!!

It’s funny - often couples come up to me at the end of their reception and say something like “thank you so much, you were awesome!! Thanks for everything today!!” And I always find myself thinking “well, just wait til you see the photos!”. It’s helped me realised how important it is to couples not only what their photos look like, but what the experience of being photographer is like.   As a result, a lot of my work on a wedding day is helping you - the bride and groom relax, enjoy yourself and just soak up the moment. The irony is that actually creates the best candid photos - when you can just embrace looking like a million dollars and have fun with the love of your life.

So if you feel a little awkward having your photo taken - that’s ok I’ve got you! If you’re looking for photos that capture beautiful intimate candid moments of joy and love - well I am too! If you need someone to help navigate your crazy family - I’ve got it covered. But heck don’t take it from me, check out what my past couples have said!

Your love story is unique, and needs to be told in a way that truly represents you. That’s basically my goal as a wedding photographer! I’ll be honest - I won’t be a fly on the wall - I’ll enter into the celebration and when I’m not helping you just be in the moment you might find me blowing bubbles with your nephew or chatting to your grandma.

I’m looking for those glances you share with your new spouse, the tear in your dad’s eye and the dance moves you pull with your bestie. It all gets captured because as everyone says - it goes by In a flash and the reality is that your memories of your special day will end up being your photos.

The only thing you should be worrying about at your wedding is making promises to the one you love, and partying with your friends and family. My goal is to make that happen and help you stay in that moment years beyond that one day.

Ok time for an introduction post!

I’m Nick - the face behind Alpha Imagery. The first thing you’ll probably notice about me (I know this because people comment ALL the time) is my eyes. No they aren’t contacts, they’re just like that haha! But the most important thing to know about me is I’m a people person. I love meeting people, hearing peoples stories and pinch myself every time I get to capture and help shape someones story as I journey through their wedding day with them.   In fact, I love people so much I produced 4 of them! My kids mean the world to me, as does my gorgeous wife - I don’t know what I’d do without them.   When I’m not running to chase the last rays of sunlight or lying on the ground to get a cool angle for a photo, you can find me riding my motorbike, watching English premier league highlights or chilling with my church family (I’m also a part time pastor).

Had to take a little break from insta, but had to come back and share this awesome wedding!! LOVED connecting with these two in the lead up to their wedding, and God provided us such a beautiful day - the allowed me to make good use of those sun flares 🤩 winter wedding win!

Well, despite some VERY uncooperative weather, my gracious clients happily rescheduled and we made this years mothers day mini sessions happen. So grateful to get to help families celebrate their love for one another. I usually send out an email announcing dates when i'm doing another round, if you'd like to be on that mailing list let me know!

One of my favourite moments to capture at weddings is the first dance. By this point the newlyweds are tired. They’re happy. They’re relaxed. They’re in love. As the music hits and they’re close to their bestie tears sometimes flow, and there’s ALWAYS a look. It’s a moment that belongs in black and white. Which is your fav?
