TO DO LIST FOR THIS WEEKEND!!
Was lucky enough to have a sneak peak to deliver flowers prior to the opening of UNSTRUCTURED, an amazing art exhibition at The Owen’s Collective in Islington.
All I can say is WOW, the young artist is absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to have the work I have purchased proudly on display in my home.
The exhibition is open all weekend and I totally recommend dropping in to this beautiful space to admire the artworks.

WATTLE DAY

It's the first day of Spring and the weather is gorgeous!

Wattle Day started in 1998 - to raise awareness of 1 September as National Wattle Day for our national floral emblem - the golden wattle "Acacia pycnantha" as a unifying symbol for all Australians, our diversity and resilience.

National Wattle Day is a day of celebration of Australia and the Australian spirit.

How can you celebrate today? How about -

👌Wear a sprig of wattle?

👍Display a vase or collection of wattle

🤝Enjoy a picnic or gathering outdoors

👏Plant a wattle

👏Make a wattle-based art or craft piece

😀Wish people Happy Wattle Day and celebrate Australia

HAPPY WATTLE DAY, EVERYONE!!

It’s the first day of spring and National Wattle Day! 💛

National Wattle Day (September 1) is a celebration of Australia’s national floral emblem, the golden wattle (Acacia pycnantha, pictured). Acacia is Australia’s largest genus of flowering plants, with 1000 species found across the continent, and is also native to Oceania and Madagascar. There are many different types – including groundcovers, shrubs and trees – and they’re an important food source for insects, birds, mammals and even reptiles.
