Celebrating another year of love 😍 today I finished my registration and OPD so I am ready for another year of weddings!

Looking forward to Spring weddings starting in 2 weeks time in Woy Woy, then I am off to Port Douglas, Fingal Bay, Orange, O'Donnell, Gosford, Sunshine Coast and the Northern Beaches.

Love is in the air Shona Tough and Ooola the kombi will be busy.

One of my first Spring weddings is out in a little town called O'Connell in NSW. (pop 356)

As a celebrant I have to following the guidelines as laid out in the Marriage Act 1961 one of these is to share a document below called "Happily ever before and after".

Today i was listening to the amazing Mel Robbins and thought I would share her recent podcast. Well worth a listen and the best relationship advice that no one ever told you!

4.15 MARRIAGE EDUCATION AND COUNSELLING
As soon as practicable after receiving the NOIM, a celebrant must give the parties a document
outlining the obligations and consequences of marriage.
33 This document has been approved by the
Attorney-General in the form of a brochure entitled Happily Ever Before and After, and indicates the
availability of marriage education and counselling and other important legal matters concerning
marriage. One copy of the brochure must be given to each party. The brochure is also available on
the department’s website in translated versions.

It was a very special day for Audra and Nathan when they had a lovely ceremony with family at friends at their beautiful home in Clontarf. Thank you for a lovely day and of course for the celebrations afterwards to toast the happy couple with dancing into the early hours.

Who saw the solar eclipse? Sadly not us down here in Australia :-( but good news...... Australia's next total solar eclipse will be on July 22, 2028 and it's set to be a good one, according to CSIRO astronomer Dr Vanessa Moss. "One of the really exciting things about this particular eclipse is it goes directly over the Sydney CBD, but also over a huge stretch of Australia as well," Dr Moss said.

I never thought I would be able to manage it but with Aye Do Weddings - Shona Tough Marriage Celebrant being on the road at weekends I have been doing it now since after Covid and had 68 guests stay at my place. I am now a super host now with 5 star reviews and mentoring people who are new to the platform.

My unit will be available from June to September this year and mates rates if anyone wants to come up to the Central Coast. Also ideal if you are thinking of moving up to this area and want to have a few months to see what you think of "la costa centrale"
