My last road trip with my beautiful daughter Amy Louise was on 22 May 2020. It was a 5 hour trip and we covered off so much in that time. If only I knew it was to be the last time I intimately spent with my baby girl I would have recorded it.
We covered off on what she wanted to call her babies, her dream home, her dream man, her riding aspirations, career goals and her catering dreams. We talked avidly about having a catering venture together when she returned home. Amy’s dreams were a bit more extravagant to mine, as in she would have loved to open a café and we had even planned what the menu would look like.
For those of you who don’t know, Amy was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident on 13 September 2020. We are absolutely gutted that this world has lost our fun, ambitious, loving, beautiful and crazy daughter, sister and niece.
Fast forward to 2024 and in her memory we are excited to officially launch Amy Lou’s & Co. We have a love of food and cooking and we want to share Amy’s dream and our passion with you.
On this page we will also share beloved stories of our Amy Lou to keep her memory alive and encourage you to share any you have of her with us too, including photos.
With love,
Kate, Steven, Jessica, Tyson, Lexi, Ben, Ellie & Anna x
