Free public Mermaid meet & greet event with Mermaid Chantal aka Chantal Baltissen The Enchanted Alice is coming back this summer 2024. Last years 2023 meet and greet event was a great turn out and we look forward to doing it again this year at Normanville beachside. Mermaid Chantal will be carried in by a pirate and she will be wearing her rainbow mermaid tail this year, it is even more spectacular than her koi orange tail last year seen in this photoshoot. Hi, Chantal Baltissen here aka The Enchanted Alice. As bookings start to role in for Spring/Summer which is my busiest time of year to entertain, this also means that my availability is limited so please contact me early for your entertainment needs.

I have 16+ years experience in the entertainment industry as a face painter, balloon twister and a professional cosplay character entertainer Elsa, Snow White, Clown, Fairy and many other characters including being an underwater mermaid / scuba certified entertainer.

And 16+ years experience with qualifications as a Graphic Designer an Advance Diploma of Graphic Design and as an Early Learning Educator I hold a Cert 3 and have completed 95% of the Diploma as I am actively working in the childcare sector to complete it. I hold all of the clearances needed to work with children, plus First Aid and CPR.

A wonderful memory. Elsa performer Chantal Baltissen aka The Enchanted Alice entertaining and in support for another great cause at McDonald's for the KidsWish foundation.

McDonald’s restaurants in the Illawarra sold $2 Helping Hands to fundraise for a new KidzWish Place in Flinders, which will be better equipped to help us support more children. The 11 day fundraising event was held between Wed 23 March until Sat 2 April. 100% of proceeds will go towards our You Raise Me Up Campaign.

Did you know Mermaid Chantal aka The Enchanted Alice wears only the best quality Mermaid tails which she performs and swims in at events. Some of which are one of a kind handmade by her in the studio. And others like this rainbow tail as vivid as a rainbow. This is her rainbow mermaid tail for this year's 2024 Normanville New Years Eve Pageant and Normanville seaside mermaid meet and greet free public events. Her headpiece and clam shell bra is equally spectacular as it is currently in production. 🌈 🐚🧜🏻‍♀️🌊🧵 🪡

Hi it's Mermaid Chantal a.k a. The Enchanted Alice entertainer and costume designer/creator Chantal Baltissen your local underwater real life Mermaid. This completely functional swimmable tail and bra I designed and made myself in my mid 20s, and it's the second mermaid tail I made. It took 3 years to complete. I designed it on computer first as a render in adobe illustrator using my graphic design skills. I used 8 second hand wetsuits to gather the neoprene which I needed, an Olympic competition size mono fin built in as fin structure, thousands of tiny scales individually hand sewn on, cost in total of materials and equipment to create it about $2k but it's my favourite because it's a one of a kind, no one else in this world has this particular tail and that's why I love it. Many of my other tails are bought from overseas. I don't feel the same connection as a mermaid entertainer in the other tails I bought, not my creativity, creation and the others are mass produced but fine to entertain in. This yin yang tail is my best creation and I will be taking it back to the water this summer ☯️ and there will be more tails coming at The Enchanted Alice so look out for Mermaid Chantal at your local beaches.
