We have a COVID-Safety Plan and are registered as a COVID-Safe business, so all our groups and services operate in a COVID safe way. So please contact or visit us if you would like to find out about any of our groups or services! What can you do here?

* As of October 2022: you can hire a hall for a birthday party or function again! (Subject to availability, and no 18ths and 21sts)

Some photos from our Café Connections Christmas Party on Wednesday! Lots of nice food, beautifully christmassy looking folks, and even some Christmas carols in 4-part harmony with Fourtunate Quartet to enjoy and sing along to!
A great party to finish off the year!
Café Connections continues to grow, and we all look forward to our Wednesday morning get-together!
Thank you to all you beautiful people for coming each week and making the cafe as good as it is, and thank you to our amazing, fabulous volunteers without whom it would not be happening!
We are taking a break over Christmas, with the first cafe back next year on the 22nd of January.
We wish you a peaceful Christmas time, and look forward to seeing you back soon! ❤️

Our office will be closed from lunchtime on Thursday the 19th of December until Monday the 13th of January 2025.
All our groups are taking a break over Christmas, but some will be back sooner than others, so please check with your group leaders for your specific group!

But before we close:
* Please drop in for food and toy hampers if you are in need (see previous post today)!
* Our 'Group 4 Mums' will hold their Christmas Party tomorrow!
* Playgroup Christmas Party is on Wednesday!
* Our Cafe Connections Christmas Party is on Wednesday (18th from 10-12), and everyone is welcome as usual!
* Book your kids in for Vacation Care (see previous post today)

VACANCIES! Our Vacation Care Program for primary school aged children at our Fun Factory OOSH Service starts on the 14th of January, and we still have some vacancies!

LAST UPDATE (Thursday):
All our toy bags are gone now too. We would like to say another big Thank You to Family Family Star North Richmond for the generous donation!
And thank you again to Strong Nation Church Hawkesbury for the food hampers!

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: We still have some TOY BAGS AVAILABLE for children 3-8 years old, and some MORE FOOD ITEMS in our Food pantry you are welcome to take if it helps you through the Christmas period!
We are open today until 5pm, and tomorrow (Thursday) until 11.30am. Please feel free to drop in!
UPDATE: Unfortunately all our FOOD HAMPERS ARE GONE NOW
We still have some basic food items available that you are welcome to if you drop in, as long as they last, and also still toy bags available!

We have some food hampers and bags with toys for children approximately 3-8 years old available for families in need, from now until Thursday morning, unless gone earlier!
If you are in need please don't be shy, that's why we are doing this.

We do have limited numbers of both though, so there will be a LIMIT of 1 food bag per family, and 2 toy bags per family. These bags have several toys in them though, all lovely stocking fillers, so they can be shared among children.

Thanks to the beautiful people at Family Star North Richmond for the toys, the bags are beautifully put together!
And thank you to Strong Nation Church Hawkesbury for the donation of food hampers to pass onto people in need!
Both of your donations are highly appreciated!

We are not able to take bookings or hold any bags this year, so if you are in need of this kind of support, please drop in during the following times to pick something up:
Monday 16.12.24: 2pm – 4pm
Tuesday 17.12.24: 2pm – 5pm
Wednesday 18.12.24: 2pm – 5m
Thursday 20.12.24: 9am – 11.30am
We will announce via our page once everything has gone.

Cafe Connections is taking a holiday over Christmas! Our last day will be Wednesday the 18th of December, so feel free to wear your Christmas hats or Christmas attire - if you like to that is!
There will be the usual spread, lots of Christmas cookies, and there will even be a spot of Christmas entertainment 😊🎶
10am - 12pm at North Richmond Community Centre, 33 William Street, North Richmond, and all free!

Christmas stuff, baking stuff, kitchen utensils, lots of gorgeous clothes and shoes, toys and lots of bits and pieces!

Update! GARAGE SALE EXTENDED UNTIL TUESDAY! 🥰😍🤩
Thank you to everyone who came to support our sale today - we hope you enjoy your bargains! But wow, we have so much left over!!!
We didn't realize how much we had until we started unpacking, so we are leaving the garage sale set up in the foyer until Tuesday as there are still heaps of fantastic bargains to be had!!!
If you belong to one of the groups using the centre over the weekend, please feel free to buy things then and leave the money as usual or do an electronic transfer - instructions will be on the office door!
Everyone else - please drop in on Monday or Tuesday between 10am and 2pm and enjoy the best shopping spree this side of the river 😘
IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT leave any more items at the centre, because as much as we appreciate everyone's generosity, currently we are beyond capacity! 🥰 Thank you all!!! ❤️

We are just finishing unpacking all the amazing donations we received, and it incredible! Beautiful children’s clothes, girls’ dresses, ladies' clothes, also some men’s clothes, toys, puzzles Christmas Decorations, shoes, handbags, hats, jewelry, candles, kitchen stuff, cushions, free DVSs… and much more!!! And all just for a donation, for as little as $1 you can get a fabulous bargain!
Oh, we even got a beautiful wedding dress for sale, size 8, for a reasonable offer! ❤️

MASSIVE GARAGE SALE THIS THURSDAY at North Richmond Community Centre from 11-3! We are completely overstocked, so everything will come out on Thursday! Women's clothes, kids' clothes, toys, kitchen stuff, handbags, all kinds of odds and ends! Price for everything will be a DONATION! YOU SET THE PRICE! The photos are just some samples of what is available, there is MUCH MORE! We hope you can drop by buy some of these beautiful things!

Our Bargain Corner is overflowing, so on Thursday we are holding our first ever FLASH SALE!
Everything will be out for you on tables in the Community Centre. You set the price, so cost for everything will be a donation of your choice - where else can you find such an offer!!!
All your donations will go towards food for our emergency pantry and our free Community Cafe, so your money will go towards a great cause!
So please do drop in and get yourself some great bargains, and you might even find the perfect Kris Kringle gift!

Just a reminder that our weekly Cafe Connections is on tomorrow! It's on every Wednesday from 10am - 12pm at North Richmond Community Centre, and everyone is welcome! Great company, good food, and it's all free! And if you are one of our regulars and you move away you will definitely be missed! Bye Jennifer, we wish you all the best in your new home, and hopefully some of the ladies will come and visit you there in the new year!

FREE Children's books! These and many more! A great selection for young children 0-5, as well for primary school aged kids! The bookshelf is on the right hand side when you come into the Community Centre foyer, so you can just drop in and choose or let your children choose some books to take home and enjoy!
They have all been donated by generous community members - thank you to you all!
