Welcome to Barefoot and Windswept 2.0. Thanks to the hackers, I lost access to my original page loosing years of work and followers. It’s been a devastating couple of days, but I am looking at this as an opportunity to build a fresh new brand showcasing what I love and do best.

Shout out right back at this beautiful lady! Flick, you are an amazingly talented photographer with a heart of absolute gold. It is always such a pleasure to work with you and to see our couples so at ease in your company as you work your magic with them.

Gorgeous elopement had yesterday, celebrating with C+L at Meander Valley Vineyard, if you haven't already discovered this little oasis in Red Hills near Deloraine then you must!

I just want to give a huge shout out to the beautiful and witty Marry Me Tasmania - Janelle Wilson Civil Marriage Celebrant. Such a pleasure to work with every single time, and always a good laugh.

Honestly, without brilliant, kind and supportive leaders in the wedding industry; it just wouldn’t be worth all the stress and exhaustion it takes to vendor-up. I love that we have such a wonderful community of gorgeous and talented vendors here in Tasmania. Why would you want to get married anywhere else?

This has been a great read Nikki 😃
As a celebrant, the mishaps I encounter are at the ceremony, waiting for guests and bridal party to arrive, my must haves are:
- Cable ties! No.1! Tiny clear ones or the large black ones, for holding flowers on arbours, or repairing anything 😆 link more than one together and they'll go around anything!
- Black permanent marker
- Screw driver
I'm always prepared for battle, you never know what seasons you're going to get in one day 😆

Building my Wedding I.C.E box.
I usually have most of these bits floating in my camera bag but thought it time to be a bit more organised. I am missing eyelash glue, a little hook and spare body tape.
My question is this, what were some of your little necessities on your day? Something you wish you had? Something tiny you had to send someone out to get?
