I was thrilled to be celebrant and guest to Mathew and Emily’s December 2020 wedding. The venue and staff at Kangaroo Valley were amazing. The gardens were so elegant and relaxing and there were many little seating nooks for guests to sit and take in the spectacular scenery.

After a long COVID break today was a beautiful day to be out celebrating love. The weather was perfect! Congratulations to Matt and Emily on the beginning of a wonderful married life. The venue was gorgeous and the bride was absolutely stunning. Congratulations to you both.

Marriage Celebrants can accept a notice of Intended Marriage from today for a same s*x marriage. I’ll be glad when January 9 2018 comes around and it’ll just be a wedding or a marriage without some sort of special label.

1 month tomorrow will be a massive day for Marriage as same s*x marriages can be formalised by Marriage Celebrants. It’s about time! Celebrants can accept a notice of Intended marriage from tomorrow. This is the biggest thing to happen in marriage ever! I’m so pleased.

I haven’t posted in a while. Life has been busy. Today has been a momentous occasion in the world of marriage. I posted my yes vote a few weeks ago and am thrilled Australia voted with their hearts.
As I am no longer on call on weekends I can focus on the world of marriage! It’ll be interesting to see how quickly legislators correct the Marriage Act to a 2017/2018 version. Goodbye Marriage Act 1961!
It’s about time.

It's always nice to go to a wedding as a guest. I get to relax and enjoy and also see how other celebrants do their thing. Yesterday was no exception. I had a wonderful time at the wedding of Dennis' colleagues. We had awesome company and the wedding was a relaxed, cocktail affair. Congratulations Andrew and Miranda. Thank you for inviting us to share in your special day.

I love being a celebrant. It's an honour to be selected to officiate at a ceremony and to create a ceremony that is unique to each couple. Yesterday I had the honour of standing beside my beautiful sister in law Liz as she became Mrs Baum. The wind tried to blow us away but nothing could ruin the moment. Thank you Liz and Marc for trusting me to pronounce you husband and wife.

The weather is perfect for an Autumn wedding! I'm so excited to officiate at Zac and Ashley's wedding today. I've watched Ash grow into a beautiful young woman and Zac is the sweetest of guys. You'll both be extremely happy together. And Zac it's number 46!

Yesterday was perfect weather for a little ladies naming ceremony. Harry Sawkins Park, Nowra was a lovely venue. It had the much needed under cover area incase of rain.

I had the pleasure in conducting a ceremony tonight for one of the loveliest couples. It was a secret wedding. They had a house warming party and sprung it on the guests. All were surprised, even the grooms sister to whom I chatted for a good half an hour as a 'friend' of the happy couple!

Shaye came with me to assist with the music and she actually thanked me for taking her as she thought it was the most amazing ceremony for the most loved up couple she had met!

Due to my overwhelmingly busy life and full time career conducting ceremonies has unfortunately taken a back seat. This morning I am conducting a wedding at Banisters Mollymook. The weather is stunning! I'm thrilled to be a part of the day for two lovely people
