SEPTEMBER WEDDINGS

With 2 weddings coming up in September, I've been busy creating ceremonies for both couples, one who will be celebrating at their home while the other at a lovely wedding venue.

If you are planning a wedding in 2025 and have not yet locked in your celebrant, there's still time for October, November or December.

Remember, you must sign up with your celebrant no less than one month before the wedding date, so you better get moving!

I love it when wedding bookings come out of the blue!
The conversation normally goes like this:

The client: "We've been together for years and plan to get married next month. Are you available and can we come and see you tomorrow?

Me: "Of course you can! You need to give at least one month's notice by signing your Notice Of Intended Marriage so let's get it done as soon as we can".

No weddings for me this week-end..... but I AM making preparations for 2 upcoming ceremonies in the near future.

With the weather not looking too promising for a private wedding at my home on Wednesday, we may have to celebrate in my sitting room!
I've done this before when the weather turns bad, either raining or too windy for an outside ceremony and the clients don't mind at all.
I still try to make it special for them and get some photos following the short ceremony.

My senior couple will just bring a couple of close friends to act as witnesses then off to the club for lunch afterwards.
