Petal throws are my fave.
After the most stressful week we have experienced weather wise, this image makes me so happy and proud. We all know how bad the Gippsland wind has been and continues to be. So when you’re trying to cut lawns, w**d, clean windows, pick up twigs and branches and you’re constantly in a battle with it, it’s exhausting. Yet, we got there and the positive spirit of Ryan and Jessi was inspiring to be around. It’s so true what they say, you can’t control the weather- so enjoy what ever day you have because these images are proof that its how we deal with life’s situation - always choose love, positivity and fun! I think it’s an important way to walk together in marriage too! I loved having these two get married in our Love Shack.

First Look.
Matt and Jessie decided to have their first look together. Before guests arrive, when the calm is still in the air. They met together at the ceremony spot and locked eyes. I loved this. It gave them time to be 100% present before the big “ I do” moment. Matt was blown away by the beauty of his wife to be and so was I. What a bride, what a couple and what a groom! It also gave them time with and their close family and friends to have photos before the ceremony. Which gave them more party time after the ceremony! Which I know they wanted a lot of 😜. The party started early and into the night we went!

When Mrs (Jessie) and Mr (Matt) from made contact that we were their favourite choice as a venue for their big day, we were pumped as! These guys go to many venues and see it all, so to be top of the pick was so humbling. Plus, they are our type of party animals! Ha this wedding was also close to us as Matt’s brother (Tom) has been landscaping our place for over 5 years .r.m_landscaping and we knew he would love the chance to drink in the barn instead of us “cracking the whip at him”
We loved having the Kombi in the courtyard. It’s such a statement piece and talking point. They are one of our favourite vendors and we couldn’t be happier celebrating with them. People that support us mean the world to us and we love supporting them back.

If you want the view but need more wind protection then the grassy knoll is where it’s at. It’s perfect for smaller numbers as it is intimate in space, but has a gob smacking view! Take me back to a day filled with vintage flair and urns!

Where does the Bell Ringing Ritual Originate?
Dating back to Ireland during the Penal Times (1695 to 1829), this traditional custom originates to when church weddings were banned in Ireland. Instead, people would get married in barns and cottages and their guests brought along bells to ring at the end of the ceremony to wish the newlywed couple good luck and bring prosperity to their marriage, as a substitute for the ringing of church bells.
The ringing of a bell on a couple’s wedding day is also said to ward off any potential evil spirits, but bells have long been gifted to newlyweds to act as ‘make-up bells’ to be rung during an argument to disrupt the discord! Megan and Brandon opted for a sustainable option sourcing vintage bells from charity shops rather than buying new. It really was so wonderful to listen to the sounds of the bells ringing across the hills of Outtrim.

Meg & Brandon’s special day was an eclectic celebration themed on the back of a vintage 1970’s Prom Night. The styling and attention to detail was done all by Meg and her amazing squad. She couldn’t have selected a better photographer than who capture the true style of 1970’s imagery, yet taking it to a modern editorial vibe. The images speak for themselves and to host such a unique and creative wedding was our absolute honour. We really do have the best couples walk into our barn.

I’m excited to share more of this
magical-musical day. Caitlin and Jose meet through dance classes. They are amazing to watch and it was the only wedding I have ever seen the whole guest list up dancing at 5pm ( no alcohol needed there) The vibe was buzzing and the jazz band was sensational. I still get goosebump thinking of the bass. We ❤️ a live jazz band.
